Imagine doing the cooking competition.

"Really? A cooking competition?"

Everyone else seems to share the distaste for this challenge, grumbling among themselves. Well, almost everyone.

You are completely fine with this phase, eager to put your skills to the test. Not to brag or anything, but you're a formidable cook as well as fighter.

Glancing around, you assess that most competitors do not have cooking capabilities. They seem to be very against the idea.

"You must cook something to satisfy both of us," the woman claims.

"The meal must be pork and you can use whatever you find at your work stations," the large male adds.

Everyone rushes off to catch a pig, you running as well.

You know that there must be a catch, so you're cautious about finding your prey. When you do, you realize that these pigs are not normal. They're huge and mean.

After observing for a few moments, you locate the animal's vulnerable spot and swiftly kill it. You take it back to the cooking area and begin to prepare your meal.

You cook it slowly over the fire, adding herbs and spices to give it a rich flavor. As you work, you pay attention to the judging.

So far, not a single person has satisfied Menchi's hunger. Heck, she hasn't even tried a bite out of any of them yet.

Beside you, Kurapika, Leorio, and Gon discuss their plans, deciding to make the pig look presentable, but completely ignoring the flavor aspect of things.

You laugh when Leorio places his pig down and Menchi asks if it's a children's meal because he stuck a flag on it. He glares at you, cursing under his breath.

"As if you'll do any better! At this rate, no one's gonna pass!" He growls to you.

Grinning, you pat his arm, "You so sure about that?"

When it's your turn to present, you set your pig before the judges with a flourish. Smiling, you explain how you cooked the meal and what spices and herbs you utilized.

Menchi stares at the pig with a growing smile, inhaling the delicious scent.

Everyone stares as she takes a bite.

"This is..."

You hold your breath.

"Amazing! Exactly what I wanted! It is cooked to perfection, it's stunning to behold and delicious to eat! You pass!"

Grinning, you jump with joy as the others grumble.

The tall, glasses wearing teenager glares openly. He hates losing, especially when you win.

"It's no fair, of course a girl would pass," Leorio grumbles.

Eyes narrowed, you turn to look at him. You tilt your head, "Who said that?"

Of course, you already know exactly who the culprit is, you just want to make everyone squirm.

An intense murderous aura saturates the earth where you stand, making anyone think twice before speaking up. Leorio smartly decides to shut his trap.

Your cold eyes scan their faces once more, "That's what I thought."

You head off to sit under a tree as Menchi rants about how only one person passed before an old man arrives to tell her off.

He proposes that everyone have another chance and the Menchi show everyone how it's done. She agrees and takes everyone to Split-In-Half Mountain.

With great ease, she demonstrates how to get a spider-eagle egg. Gon, Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio are the first to hop down and follow her lead.

Of course, you've already passed so you simply get to observe.

"Come on, Leo," you grin, looking at him hanging there. "You got this... or do you?"

He shouts curses at you as you laugh. You really enjoy teasing him, if only because then he pays attention to you.

Truth is, you kinda like him.

He probably hates you though, so you settle for irritating him.

You watch as the majority wait for Gon's signal, successfully snatching eggs.

Walking to Leorio, you lightly punch his side, "I knew you'd make it."

"Ha, you were wishing I'd fail, weren't you?"

"Not really. I like having you around," you grin, adding a wink to make it more interesting.

He stiffens, face going red at your actions. You giggle, making him even more frustrated.

"Don't make fun of me!"

"I'm not, I just think you're cute when you get all flustered," you grin up at him, watching as his face gets redder.

He leaps away and points angrily at you, "You're still mad about what I said earlier and now you're toying with me!"

Okay, this isn't funny any more.

"Let me debunk that theory," you growl, approaching him again.

By now, many of the contestants are staring, wondering what will happen. They know how dangerous a fight with you could be.

Before anyone knows what's happening, you grab Leorio's shoulders, forcing him to bend so that you can plant your lips firmly against his.

Stunned, he simply stands there for a moment even after you pull away.

Grinning like an idiot, you say, "Would a person holding a grudge do that?"

"Y-yes!" He stutters, unable to form any other words.

You pat his back, "Believe what you want, but the evidence says otherwise."

Kurapika watches you walk away, "She likes you, Leorio."

"No she doesn't!" The man in question shouts, waving his arms around like a maniac.

Gon giggles, "She totally does!"
