I have never been more proud of Tyler courage in my entire life. :) All I can say . . . Maddythewriter, you're going to be thanking Jackie and Rose Tyler over and over again by the end of this. ;)
Hope you all enjoy this! I know I enjoyed writing it. ;)

"You know the Doctor," the Dalek said, turning to face the two women. "You understand him. You will predict his actions."
"Like hell I will," the Alchemist sneered.
"Predict! Predict! Predict!"
"TARDIS detected in flight," another Dalek said.
"Launch missiles. Exterminate!"
"You can't!" Rose blurted. "The TARDIS hasn't got any defenses. You're going to kill him!"
"You have predicted correctly."

"We've got incoming!" Jack warned from behind the console. The Doctor held on, hoping their new forcefield worked, and grinned when all they felt was just a nudge. Jack grinned in delight as well. "The extrapolator's working! We've got a fully functional forcefield." He laughed. "Try saying that when you're drunk!"
"And now for my neck trick . . . " The Doctor flipped a few switches. The Alchemist and Rose appeared inside the TARDIS as they landed on the ship, but Jack paid attention to the Dalek by them. "Alice, get down!" he shouted as Jack took aim. "Get down, Rose!"
"Exterminate!" the Dalek shouted.
The Alchemist's eyes widened, and she quickly pulled Rose to the ground as the Dalek's shot just narrowly missed her shoulder. Jack fired, and he didn't miss. "You did it!" Rose cheered.
The Alchemist shook her head and stood up warily, staring at the Dalek in shock and horror. "Hey," Jack told her, putting a hand on her shoulder. "You all right?"
"I don't know," she answered truthfully before turning to give him a hug. "Nice gun."
"Feels like I haven't seen you in years," Rose said happily, hugging the Doctor.
"I told you I'd come and get you," the Doctor reminded her.
"Never doubted it."
"I did. You all right?"
"Yeah. You?"
"Not bad. Been better."
"I think we can all say that," the Alchemist spoke up before smiling at the Doctor. "Nice work."
"Did you manage to scare them?" the Doctor asked, not entirely sure how she'd react if he hugged her. He wasn't about to find out.
"Oh, I think I managed quite well."
"Hey, don't I get a hug?" Jack complained.
Rose grinned. "Oh, come here!"
"I was talking to him," Jack joked, but he hugged Rose anyway. "Welcome home."
"Oh, I thought I'd never see you again!"
"What am I, chopped liver?" the Alchemist whined.
"Chopped liver isn't badass," Rose told her.
The Alchemist beamed at the description. "I like that."
"You were lucky," Jack told them, hefting up the defabricator gun. "That was just a one shot wonder. Drained the gun of all its power supply. Now it's just a piece of junk . . . " He trailed off as the Alchemist began looking over it. "Don't tell me you can fix it."
