"so you found out.. huh?"

~~~
as soon as i pack my stuff, i walk out the apartments, rain was dying down now. i didn't know where to go, where to be, who to turn to. i could do with a hug from my mom right now. but we all know that won't happen. i wander the streets with my big bag deep in thought. my eyes were still raw red and puffy, tears still fighting their way out. i want sabrina cuddles, but she's in mexico celebrating at her little sisters quince party. erin is in the alps with her photography group. me and maihua are done for. india is a snake. which leaves one person. vivian.
i hesitantly text her if i can come over to hers for a bit, she automatically reads it, as if she was expecting it or something and she replies rapidly.
of course, 102 vaughan road, i have icecream.
i smile at her text, more tears falling down my face. i realise i am literally walking away from vivians street but it's way to awkward to just turn around and head that way in public so im going to cross the street and head back down. after doing so, i walk onto the estate that vivian lives in. it wasnt massive houses, but they were average homes either. newly built, slightly modern. i peer at the door names, until i find the one im looking for. turning onto the drivewat and knocking on the door.
a man in his mid-30s answers, he smiles warmly.
"hello! can i help you?" he asks kindly.
"i'm uh.. vivian's friend." i say smiling through my tears, the man frown sympathetically, and opens the door wider.
"i suppose vivian is here to help you through whatever you're going through?" the man, who i presume is her dad asks me. "i'm a fully trained and professional therapist you know so if you-"
"andrew, the poor darlin doesn't need therapising right now." a young woman calls out, she looks mid-30's too, she walks in from the kitchen, a dishtowel on her shoulder. "she came for a friends support."
"i know, hon." vivian's dad says with a smile. "i just have to get the offer out there, amanda, sometimes they might take it"
"andy, i'm a professional masseuse, but i dont offer every person with a bruise on their arm a massage now do i?" she chuckles softly,her voice was very soothing. "vivian, honeypot! you have a friend down here to see you!"
"comin mom!!" she says back, she runs down stairs her eyes land on me, i see the sympathy in them. vivian's mom walks back into the kitchen,
