I unpack then wash my face. With nothing more to do, I go downstairs and to the left. I look into the first room I come to. Geoffrey is in there with another guy. I enter and sit beside Geoff.

"Sierra Miller, meet Gage Carson. Baby, Gage is Drake's brother."

"Nice to meet you Ms. Sierra! Welcome to Colorado." Gage's voice is just a tad deeper than Drake's. He is also wider in the shoulders, more muscled than Drake also.

"Thank you very much! So far I am in love with Colorado. Some beautiful country side!"

"I'm glad you like it. Do you ride?"

   "Yes, although it has been years since I have been on a horse."

    "Great! We will go riding. In a day or so. I can let you meet the best riding stock."

"And show her which ones to stay away from also." Drake said as he entered the living room. "We don't want Thor hurting her."

   I notice how Geoff is smiling more when he sees Drake. Hmmm. Is there something there? I will be watching that situation. He had told me that he had a special friend when he was at Fort Polk for three years. I just assumed that it was a woman. Why didn't he tell me? That hurts.

  We go into the dining room and I see a few more people already there. A man stands with his back to me, he has the same shoulders and dark hair as Drake and Gage. There was also another man and two women. One woman was trying to get closer to the man with his back to me. He kept brushing her off.

   "Well they are finally here. Let's eat." The elder of the ladies said. I was introduced to Anthony, brother, Reba, mother, Ryland, friend, and Cassidy, friend and leach.

  I was about to sit when Anthony looks at me. "You will sit here, Sierra." He pulls a chair out for me.

  They talk about ranch chores. Cassidy keeps giving me a death glare, but I ignore her. Nobody seems surprised or cares about her.

  "I'll be going to the valley for the next few days. So if you need me, call my sat phone. If you don't already have the number, don't try to get it." Anthony said when dessert was served.

  "Anthony, we have guest." Reba told her son.

  "I am aware of that, mom. The brothers can entertain them. In the meantime, we have a ranch to run. You won't mind, will you, Sierra?"

  "Not at all! I can entertain myself." I told him.

  "See, mom, they can survive without me."

  "But I don't like going into the valley! Unless it is Conner's Valley." Cassidy said in a whiny voice.

  "That is exactly why I'm going." I choked on my water. "Are you ok?" Anthony asked with a smirk on his face as he pat my back.

  "I'm good, thank you..... for saving my life." I said sarcastically. He laughed and we noticed that Cassidy was red faced. He kept his hand on my back just to piss her off more. He winked and made a motion toward Cassidy with his eyes. I returned the wink. Telling him that I'm on board with keeping Cassidy at a distance.

  "Well I will be here when you get back. Even though you're being rude." We heard Cassidy say.

  "Sierra, would you like to go to the valley and see some real ranch life?"

  "Sure! I'm all yours for two weeks." I tell him with a smile.

  "Great! Looks like we can spend more time in the valley!" He looks up into the pissed off face of Cassidy. There is also the mixed reactions of the rest of the people around the table. "See mom, I will be entertaining one of the guest. Feel better?"
