"Hey sweetheart, the man I told you about already rented out the house. So do you want to go look at some others in Carson tomorrow?"

"That sounds good. Then I can start making the calendar that I have promised Reba and Cassidy."

"I need to warn you that we may have to buy a new one. We'll also need furniture. Unless you want what you have in Texas, here."

"I'll leave that stuff there. We'll need it when we visit. We can buy new. Then we can decide later what to do with it when our house is built."

"You're acting like you are about to get married!" Anthony said.

"We are. Why do you think that I'm working on my fence line. We are going to build a house, but need something to live in first." Jordan replied.

"You can afford all of that?" He lifted an eyebrow.

"Yes. When gramps said to invest the trust funds, I did. It has been earning interest ever since. I have enough to buy a house."

"But she's talking about building a house too." Anthony added.

"I have money too. If nothing else, I can sell the house in Texas. The last tax assessment was just over two hundred thousand." I replied.

Both of their jaws dropped. They didn't expect that. "You both thought that I was after Jordan's money!" I guessed. The look on their faces said it all. "I have my own money. Quite frankly, I'm offended that you both think that I would use Jordan like that." I was now pissed! "Thanks for that vote of confidence. I will still take your photos, but I wouldn't expect much more than that until you realize that I'm not a bad person."

I stood and went inside and upstairs to our room. I was hurt. I pulled out my laptop and was going through pictures, when Jordan walked in.

"Sweetheart, want to go look at those houses now instead of tomorrow?"

He picked me up and sat me in his lap. "Tomorrow is fine. It will give us a whole day. Help me choose pictures for our calendar."

"Sounds good. I didn't think about it taking all day. I've never bought a house before."

"I haven't either. My dad bought the house that I live in just before he was killed. Apparently he had that life insurance on it. So when he was killed, the house was paid off. I've lived there since I was fourteen."  I told him.

"I see. Well we will do this together." He kissed my temple. "Those are from Texas! I like that one."

Jordan was talking about one of us watching a movie. "Did you take this picture? Because I didn't."

"I did! It was the perfect picture that I wanted to keep. Put that on July for me."

"Your birthday!" I added it to the layout. I flipped through a few more pictures.

"That one! Can we put that one some where?"

We were at Magnolia and looking into each other's eyes.  "March or February?"

  "February, for Valentine's day."

"That leaves us with March, June, November, and December. But I have plans for November and December."

"Well Thor was born in June. We met in March. Does that help?"

"It does!" I put a picture of Thor galloping as we watched, for June.

  "What about March?"

"I have an idea for that one too. We will get an engagement ring tomorrow, if you want to?" I look at him.
