The days flew by. I would help Reba with cooking and cleaning, then go out to work with Thor. He was only mad at me for one day. Then he forgave me for not being here.

Cassidy was just as big of a pain as always. I ended up doing some invitations for her. "Cassidy, here is your invitation. Is this what you want?"

She looked it over. "That looks great! How many can you print?"

"How many do you need?"

"One hundred."

"I'll go to town and get the rest of the paper. Consider this mine and Jordan's wedding gift, along with the pictures."

"Perfect!"

"I'll go to town in the morning. Mom, what do you have planned in the morning after breakfast?"

"I need to buy groceries and check on my dresses."

"Can I go with you? I need to go to Ebby's office supply."

"Sounds like a plan to me." Reba told me.

"I fly out on Monday morning. I'll be in Texas for at least two days. Then when I get back, I need to get everything done for our wedding and moving into the house."

"Sounds like you'll be busy." Cassidy said.

"I am. Jordan was going with me, but he has to supervise the house being delivered. The furniture is supposed to be here on the twenty-third. We can move in then."

"What about linens and other household goods?" Reba asked.

"I haven't even thought of that. I have quite a bit in Texas. I guess that I can move it here. I can load up my truck and drive back after court."

"Hey, sweetheart! What did I miss?" I told him about driving back with some household goods. To get us started. "Is anyone coming back with you?"

"No, but I can drive myself. It will also give me my own vehicle to use here. It makes good sense."

He thought about it for a minute. "Sounds like the best plan. You must promise to be careful driving though. I still don't like the idea of you driving that far, alone. Just leave some things there for us to use when we're there."

"Of course!" We sat to eat dinner.

Monday morning I land in Texas. Geoff is there to pick me up. I call Jordan and let him know that I made it.

"I'm glad you are safe. Not half an hour after you left, the dealer called. Our house is being delivered today. I can actually see it coming down the road now. Dad is directing them where to bring it."

"Wow! I guess you did a good job getting the well and septic dug in time."

"Well thank you, sweetheart! It feels good to be acknowledged by someone you love."

"Always, my love!" We talked for a few more minutes. Then Jordan had to talk to the delivery crew. I tell Geoff what was going on.

I met with Mickey. Then I went to the agency to talk to Nichole.

"Hey chic! Working hard?"

"Oh my goodness! Sierra! I miss you so much! Things just aren't the same!" Nichole hugged me.

"Well I am just here to see if you want to do me a favor."

"Anything for my best boss!"

"Including being my bridesmaid?" I showed her my ring.

Nichole squeeled and hugged me again. We made plans for her to fly out a few days early.

"Ok, I will get my ticket and call you with the details. That way you don't have to worry about me. As long as I have a bed to sleep in, I'm good!"
