We get to the airport. "I'm really going to miss you. But I'll be there soon." I tell Jordan as we stand across from security.
"I'm missing you already, sweetheart. Let me know your flight details and I'll be there. I want you to stay safe."
"Always! I love you, honey!"
"We need to get going. Only forty-five minutes till we board." Drake said reluctantly.
"Damn! Alright. I love you too, sweetheart! I'll see you soon." We kiss deeply before we had to part. Geoff and I watch as Jordan and Drake go through security. With one last wave and kiss blown, our guys disappear. I wipe a tear off as Geoff puts his arm around my shoulders and squeeze. We walk back to my Navigator. Geoff took the keys from me and drove home.
When we get to my place, I check the mail. There is a letter from a bank that I don't deal with. It is addressed to Patrick. I open it and my eyes widen as I read that Patrick had a secret account, including life insurance. I hand the letter to Geoff. I am instantly on the phone to his uncle, my attorney. I explain the letter to Mickey.
"So first thing that I want you to do is gather your driver's license, social security card, marriage license, and Patrick's death certificate. Tomorrow morning go to that bank and get all of the money out of it, except a hundred dollars. Make the claim on the insurance policy. If they give you any problems, call me with them sitting there. Let them hear everything that I say."
"That was what I was going to do anyway. But why didn't Sam Johnson have this information when we closed out all the other accounts? It has been two years!"
"I don't know, but I will definitely have an answer for you as soon as I can. I will call Sam first thing in the morning. This is very unprofessional to say the least."
"I appreciate it uncle Mickey! I knew that I could count on you. You're awesome!"
"Yes, well we already knew that!" We laughed. "So, now, what is this that I'm hearing about a boyfriend? Explain!"
I told him all about Jordan. "And that I plan to go back to Colorado this week. I love him, uncle Mickey."
"He sounds like a good guy. You don't mind if I do a check on him, do you?"
I knew that he would rather if I agree or not. "Go ahead. I already ran one." I smiled because I can almost see his astonishment. But after the job that Patrick pulled, who could blame me?
"Good! I don't blame you one iota. Now I got to get going. Mary wants to go to her mom's. I will talk to you tomorrow."
"Alright, thanks!" We hung up.
Geoff and I talked about our weekend with the guys.
"Sorry, Sierra, I just can't imagine you having sex in front of a computer. That just blows my mind." Geoff laughed. "And on the bar that we always eat on! Seriously?! How the hell am I supposed to sit there and eat tacos without thinking of you being spread eagle on there?"
"If it helps.... I wasn't spread eagle." I laughed harder at his face when his jaw dropped. "Did I shock you?" He nodded his head slowly. "Ok so there are different positions that people can have sex. One way is for a man to sit, naked, and the partner is in his lap. With his or her back to the man on bottom....." Geoff covered my mouth.
"Enough! I don't need a visual. I have no way to appease it!"
I was laughing so hard that I had tears rolling down my cheeks. "I love you Geoffrey! Thank you so much for kidnapping me. I really needed it. I never realized how much until it happened." I hugged him tightly.
