The were now on the way to the Living Library, albeit with tension in the air. No one spoke, they just rode off to the PifflePaff hills, dodging the press and journalists on the way. Dovey didn't understand how they still had questions, what even is there to ask about?! The wedding happened four years ago, Japeth was defeated four years ago, they had bounties on their heads four years ago, basically, everything happened four years ago. Apart from the burnt ring, but she has no clue how it got out to the press. The winding roads sprawled on, as they travelled through Camelot, skirted around Foxwood, cut a clean line through Ginnymil and much more. It was a tedious journey but it had to be done. They needed answers and they were going to get it at any cost.

After two days of non stop riding and silence, they finally arrived at the gates of the kingdom and as expected, was greeted by a swarm of people, from beggars to rich reporters that capitalise on publicising private affairs in royal families. Soon after, they finally managed to push through, with quite a lot of money lost on the way and reporters running after them.
The Queen of PifflePaff Hills heard that they were there and quickly rushed to the scene in her emerald embossed carridge to earn Tedros' favour. He was after all, used to it. His father was the legendary King Arthur, who protected the Endless Woods from Evil. So Tedros was expected of that too, however, there wasn't much happening that he needed to interfere in. Just a couple of serial killers that got dealt with before he even got notified of it!
"Some serial killers they are" he thought
Soon they managed to push past the queen and her parade of guards and finally made it to the library, well with a trail of reporters snaking behind them.
The kind librarian that helped them on their quest to dethrone the Snake greeted them and showed them through to the main hall. They didn't see this bit then and were awed and the masses and masses of books. Tedros and the others stared around until an elf came up to them and squeaked, as to say "What book are you looking for?"

Dovey took the lead and said "One true king."
The elf led them through to the far left of the library and through a winding passageway down into the deep archives of the library. The elf squeaked and rummaged around and picked up a book that said
'Won two Ping Pong games'
Lesso stepped forward and snapped "One True King, not Won two ping pong games?! Who would want to know about someone who won two ping pong games?"
The elf stepped back in fright and led them down deeper and deeper until it was near pitch black and they had to let only the light of the wall torches to guide them. Ahead was they an iron door with heavy, rusted chains on it. A sign was strung up, saying 'Restriscted, only allowed through by permission of the Head Librarian'
The elf squeaked into his wrist and a series of deeper squeaks came back. It seemed like there was a communication device, new technology these days made Dovey's head spin!
In response to the squeaks, the elf took a heavy ring of keys from his pocket and while struggling, got the door open and ushered them through.
The room inside had to be twice as large as the main one! Old, frayed books were stacked messily on the shelves that we ten metres tall and a musty smell enveloped the area.
They were led to the furthest side and the books were a lot more aged, it seemed that more than a few pages
were missing. The elf picked the second to the right off the shelf and handed it to her, the title was 'The Powers Of The One True King'
She turned to the first page and skipped through what they already knew. Everyone crowded around her as she cleared her throat and read aloud:
"The powers of the One True King can be attained by persuading all of the leaders of the Endless Woods to burn their rings, but, there is a loophole. If someone controls the person into persuading the others, the powers go to them." There was more but Dovey paused there.
"You, you controlled me?" Tedros whispered.
"No, she was as school the whole time you silly child." Lesso snarked. Just as Nicola was about to say something, The doors burst open and the elf dove behind the shelf.
Someone Dovey hadn't seen in a long while stood at the front, guarded by knights.
"Hello, Clarissa." Her brother said. "Miss me?"
