Dovey seeing her brother revived all sorts of memories back from their childhood. He swaggered up to her in gold armour, flanked by guards and held a sword to her throat. Silently, but surely. The others jumped to her defence but she held out a hand to stop them. This was always going to happen, she was just hiding from it all along.
In their childhood, Clarissa and Clarence were best friends, thick as thieves. They would do anything and everything together, and Clarence being the youngest, couldn't bear to be away from her, he was, if a bit, clingy. He would always get jealous whenever Clarissa hung out with her friends, and especially Leonora Lesso. He felt that they had some special bond that was stronger than theirs, and wanted it all for himself.

Over time Clarence began to drift further and further away from her, especially when she got admitted to the School for Good and Evil with Lesso. That pesky witch would always win. He blamed a lot on that school, the school in which Clarissa ended up working at. The school which he wanted to burn down. Including evil's dean.
She was so close to dying in the war but she survived. How? Who knows? But all he does know that it's because of dark magic, the evilest one. Lady Lesso would stay alive whether he liked it or not.
His stupid sister ignored his warnings about Lesso and even stopped talking to him for a while. Something about "yOu cAnT sAy aNyThIng aBoUt mY fRiEnD, YoU dOnt eVeN kNow HeR!". The words "My Friend" set something of in him that he didn't know about. Like Clarissa liked her, the witch that ruined everything than him, her kind brother who loved her so much. Well she would pay for that and learn not to ignore him ever again. This would mean war. And Lesso would be caught up in something bad. Very bad for her.
It will all start now.
