Hello people of Hermittpad! This is my first book being put on the internet (so nervous yet excited squeeee)
So i will hopefully not lose motivation-i am the type of person who gets distracted easily so if anyone ends up reading this and is like 'hey wheres the next chapter' just imagine me being like 'oooooh shiny' and working on something else.
DISCLAIMER-I got the idea for this story from a couple of sources (in order of how i found them)
SO! I found this great animatic by" A mess called Maci" on youtube based off of the Au on Ao3 called ATUS (As The Universe Shifts) by "aayaptre". I was intrigued so I went onto reading that (go read it yourself if you haven't, its quite famous and its really r e a l l y well written. And then i went back onto youtube and I was like-what if there are more amazing animatics like this one! And one that stuck out to me was by "Sara SP". So the first animatic by Maci uses the song Karma by AJR so I am also using that for inspiration. (Keep the song in mind throughout the story)
In no way to I intend on stealing aayaptre's work. They did an excellent job with writing it and I don't want to take ownership of that story. This merely has some parallels so this is why I'm addressing this now. Yes there might be similarities but no I am not trying to steal ATUS as my own work. I hope this message is stated clearly enough for anyone who is reading this-I really dont wanna have to deal with copyright issues. Again this is an AU. Some AUs are similar or get ideas from other very talented people. I hope I credited the animators and the writer enough and if I didn't i'll gladly add more praise and appreciation.
I hope this story opens my eyes even more to the Hermitcraft fandom. I would love to get to have conversations with you all about this fandom and our favorite stories within it.
