friends are fun (most of the time)

Walking around the school ground alone was no fun. Mikey was in detention for God knows what now, so I decided to be a good girlfriend and wait for him. Totally not because I hoped to get a ride from Gerard who was in detention, too.

"Hey Y/N!" The familiar voice of Ray shouted. I turned around and saw him sitting on the bleachers. He motioned for me to come over to him so I did and sat down next to the curly head.

"What're you still doing here?" I asked him curiously. Since Mikey and I became a couple, I've spent more time with the other guys as well and grew pretty close to them.

Ray huffed, grinning. "The idiots got themselves detention and we planned to spend the night at the Way's so I'm waiting for them now. You're waiting for Mikey?"

I nodded. "Yes, I hoped to spend some time with him on the weekend but when you've got plans I don't want to force myself on you."

"Bullshit. We like your company so you're coming with us. There weren't any real plans besides video games anyway." Ray decided. I sighed relieved because I had been looking forward to the weekend the whole time.

"Well okay, than I gladly come too. Do you know by the way, what they've done now?" I was impressed that Ray never seemed to be involved in the shenanigans of Frank and Gerard despite spending so much time with them.

"Gerard threw some weird chemicals together while Frank encouraged him to do so."

Huh? Gerard and Ray were a year older than the rest of us and in the grade above us. So I naturally asked: "Why was Frank in your Chemistry lesson? And how did Mikey get detention and you not?"

Ray grinned. "Frank and Mikey had a free period so the midget snuck in and the teacher didn't notice him. Mikey made the mistake to laugh from outside at them because he waited for Frank and Mrs. Lee was furious so I stayed quiet. She ignored me completely so here I am waiting with you for them." He told me, making me giggle at the stupid things the others did.

Finally the three came out of the building, Mikey looking pretty grumpy. "I still hate you for this. I didn't do anything!" He complained.

I stayed next to Ray, waiting for him to notice me. The moment he did, his face lit up. "Hey, babe! You waited for me?" Mikey asked, seeming surprised.

Grinning widely, I opened my arms to hug him. We only had the first class together so we hadn't seen each other properly today. Of course he wrapped his arms around me and kissed my head.

"Of course. I hoped to maybe come over to yours and spend the night?" I answered his question, giving him the best puppy eyes I had. Gerard laughed in the background.

"If you can bear us guys, babe than sure" Mikey said, taking my hand as we walked to Gerard's car.

"Great. My parents are out for the weekend so I can come with you right now" I told him.

"I hate you all" I mumbled in Mikey's chest. We were currently sitting on the sofa and just finished a horror movie, Gerard insisted on watching. I thought it was a good opportunity to cuddle with Mikey and have an excuse to not get teased too much but shit, that was scary.

Frank that asshole laughed. "Come on, it wasn't that bad"

Mikey stroked my back soothingly. "Tell that the hands that are ripping my shirt apart" he chuckled.

"Ew, not in the living room you two!" Gerard screamed in an overly disgusted voice. That made me laugh and blindly slap at him. I refused to let go of my boyfriend.

Mikey huffed. "Gerard no."

Thank Lord for Ray because he stopped the upcoming fight by suggesting: "Some Mario kart to calm everyone's nerves?"
