After leaving the drive-in movie and headed back to the shop. The crew offer to drive Tyler car back even Mateo and I would offer, but I don't have a permit or driver license. But being Tyler, he was stubborn and keeping say that he's fine, but Nyla pulls my side to tell me to keep an eye on him and if something happened while he is driving is to text her and she will take control even if it means she has tied him up and put him in the back seat.

"I'm fine, Estelle. You can stop watching me in the corner of your eye and worried." Tyler said, taking a quick glance at me.

"Sorry, I'm just worried about you, since you got hurt." I said, but I also wanted to add because of me. But knowing him he will tell me its not and that is Jack for starting it and don't know when to give up or move on when it come to losing a race against Tyler.

He sighs. "Again, I'm fine, so don't worried about me." I nodded.

We got back to the shop and right before getting out of the car, my phone went off. I look to see a text message from an unknown number. I was about to read the message when Tyler came around the car knock the window before opening the door for me.

"What's wrong?"Tyler says, sounding worried.

"Nothing, just notification reminding about an essay that I need to start on soon." I said. I hate lying to him, but I don't want him to react if I tell about the unknown text message that I didn't read yet, who know what the message is it could mean to someone else but got the wrong number. I'll look at the message later.

Tyler reaches his hand out and help me out of the car. Once out of the car I got a good look of Tyler and I gasped because of the way he looked. Jack and his goons did a number on him. There a buries around his one eye, on the Galen and almost definite on ribs where Jack kicked a few times.

"Oh my god. Tyler your face?" I said, worried about him the way he looks.

"They didn't mess up the money maker, did they?" Tyler said, trying to light of the situation. I went to lightly touch his face and he wince of the pain. He got a black eye on the left of his eye and a bruise on his jawline.

"You didn't need to go to all this trouble for me." I said, feeling guilty for getting him hurt because Jack.

"Yes, I did." I reach out, touching his face once more, but tenderly to his face. "Estelle, I'm fine. I have been in a few fights before in my days. They only got a couple of licks in."

"Looks like more than a couple. But I think I can help with this. Is there a first aid kit around?"

"Yeah they're one upstairs. Come on."

Tyler walks up the stairs to the second floor there a door separated from the apartment and the workshop. Stepping through the door there a long hallway the floor is hardwood throughout the apartment, a few steps on the left is the living room with a couch and two chairs and 72' inch TV on the wall. The kitchen is big with kitchen few cabinets and storage closet, the countertop is black marble and the kitchen table look like they made it out of a car hood and painted it red and black strip in the middle and the chairs is made out of the car seats too. Very creative, they are. We went back to the hallway and there are five doors. Two on the left and three on the right side.

We went to the last door on the left. I followed right behind Tyler.

He turns on the light and the room looks bare beside the white walls, dresser, and a king size bed in the middle of the room and a few posters of vintage cars.

"Not much to decorating?" I ask, looking around once again.

"No, I don't tend to stay long when things get way over head and have to flee off to somewhere and started over. I only carried the things I needed, like clothes and a good working car and a little extra cash that last until I find side jobs." Tyler said, looking around the room, "I be back, I'm gonna get the first aid kit from the bathroom." I nodded.
