The next morning I found my dad pass out on the couch this morning before going to school. I'm catching a ride from Kendra and she is any second so I left a not for dad before walking out the door and wait for her to get here.

"Are you ready for tomorrow night?" Kendra asks once I got in her white Honda car.

"Do I have a choice." I say buckling in my seatbelt on. Don't get me wrong I am excited but also terrifying because what if I get caught or dad would be checking up on me every few hours whenever I go out sometimes with my friends that what been going on in head and the scenario too, keeping on coming in my head on what would happened and I try to think of something but nothing work, even last night I was excited but that soon went away when I think what could happened, so I hope they could help loosen me up bit by not freaking out too much over this when the time to go.

"Come on, lighten up bit everything will be fine."

"Yeah, but you don't have a detective who is your Dad, that's too many question sometime when I out on the weekend with you, guys." I loved my Dad, but he does act that way, he just too overly protective of me when it's come to something I wanted to do. And sometimes I just wanna pull my hair out or tell easy up a bit on the leash that he have on me, he knows that he can't keep on protecting because sooner or later I need to learn thing on my own and protect myself, the world, when I'm out there because I'm going to need like 24/7 when I'm gone off to college. I need to do things for myself if I wanna survives out there on my own

"Yeah, but at least he cares about then own dad."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean like that."

"It's fine, E." I give her look like are-you-your-fine. "Really, fine. Don't worry about me, I am alright."

"Okay, just know you, you can talk me if you feel like it." I say, letting her know that she can trust me by talking to me how she feel. All I know is that couple of month ago that her dad left her and her mother, who is matter fact is seven month pregnant right now for a younger woman, but didn't go on talking about but chose to ignore now until time come when she fee like and they almost lost their home because the bills where high and after they sold Kendra car which she loved but sacrifice it to help out her to pay some of the because she on maternity leave from her job at the moment. Her mom hates asking for help so they got a loan and they still pay some of it, but dad try to help if they ever needed help they will accept it because how close me and Kendra are too being friends, who we sometimes act like sister most of the time.

Kendra mom, Kathrine is a nurse at the client, she 5'9 with black hair and hazel eyes and she like a mother figure to me ever since I become friend with Kendra. She always kind and sweet and caring to another, and now trying to be strong for her family that where Kendra get some of her personality from is her.

"I know, but not right now, soon. Okay." I nodded. The ride to the school was nothing but silence except for the radio playing in the background, but that's what we need, but silence well for Kendra anyway to try and get over the thought of her dad leaving her and her family at the worst time of her year when she about graduating high school in a matter of three months.

When we got to the school Mack is already waiting for on the sidewalk on her phone, probably watching a YouTube video.

"What are you watching there?" I say going by her side to see what she watches.

"Some kid trying to pull a prank, but it's horribly wrong, you gotta watch it later, okay." Mack says laughing and then put her away.
