The next day I woke up after dad left for work and the second I woke up I get a text from someone. I look at the screen and see that it's Lexi, I thought it was Tyler for second because usually he the first to text me in the morning.

When I see her name up on my screen, I thought of the night when her mom asks me to do something that could cause a betrayal and hurtfulness and I don't want to do that and lose them. I surprised me that I didn't think about last night for a second and I really needed the break from it because I don't know what to do at this point. Should I listen to Skye and help her out, even though the time I spent with they are pretty good people, but their life gotten thrown off the track and don't have no one to help them go back on the track or the got misunderstood for they are or went to be. Or do I not tell her and just hope they know when they go too far with their business and not get hurt or get caught since they're doing.

I open the message to see what she says.

Lexi: Hey, got any plans for today?

Me: Later on. Why? What's up?

Lexi: I wanna know if you like to hang out today. If you want to anyway?

I took a minute to answer her wondering if I should with everything going on at the moment, even though she doesn't know going on, but then I decided to go anyway, maybe I can get mine mind off of thing for the day before meeting Tyler and the gang later.

Me: Sure, why not. But I need to get back by five. I'm going over to my friend for the week.

I hate lying to her nut Tyler is a friend that I know of and then on Sunday I'm hanging out with Mack for the day, Kendra isn't hanging out with us she say she has to work but I have feeling it might have something to do with me and just using work as an excuse or she could be telling the truth. But it's hard to tell so I believe she telling the truth, I'm just hoping she is and if not I'll be hurt because I really wanted to spend some time with her and move past whatever this this we're doing.

Lexi: Alright, I'll see you soon.

After texting her I hurried and got ready and had a quick breakfast. While I was waiting fr her outside I look around my neighborhood and seeing kids running round playing and few people on there daily walk or sitting on their porch relaxing and enjoying the day. As I look at some family having fun, especially kids playing with their mom, I started to feel sad wishing that I got to know my mom or have her here.

Thirteen minutes later Lexi have finally arrived here and I was about to call her to see when she coming if she haven't shown up in about two minutes.

We went to the mall and going to store to store because Lexi is already looking for prom dress. And prom isn't until the middle of May and that's about a one month and half. But she wanted to get the perfect dress before someone else get I before her. And plus we did a little shopping beside looking for dresses. After hours walking around we decided to take break and got something to get eat at the food court. We went to taco bell. I got the burrito supreme comb and nacho fries and Lexi got crunchwrap supreme combo.

"So, how are you and Tyler doing?" Lexi ask, once we sit down and I almost choke on my drink.

I took few deep breath before talking. "Fine, but let me point something out, we're just friend."

"Sure you are? That's what they all say before admitting it."

"Whatever." Is all I say.

We got to my street when Lexi say something.

"Is that him?" Lexi say. At first I didn't know what she meant until I look up from my phone to see a black 1986 jaguar xj6 car park in front of my house. "He's handsome. You better keep an eye on him if don't want anyone snatched him up from under you."
