Note: This is part II of chapter 14.
Harry Potter woke up in this bed, he had a bad headache and no memories of the previous day whatsoever. He saw a note next to his bed, he picked it up and came to the conclusion that he can't read. Only to later realize that he wasn't wearing his glasses. The note read,
"Harry,
Drink this up, it will help you with the symptoms and memory loss.
- Ginny x"
His heart skipped a beat, "Ginny x" he read that note a few times, overanalyzing it, before gulping down the potion. He still had a headache and went out to his kitchen. He started making his breakfast and it hit him. Everything he did and said yesterday came back to him. Harry froze, he said some really dumb things to Ginny. He then remembered that she asked him to ask her out when he was sober.
Harry decided to do just that. He was embarrassed beyond imagination but he couldn't mess it up again. He was in love with Ginny Weasley and it was high time he accepted that.
He went back to his room, took a shower, changed and walked out of his apartment. He decided to walk a few blocks so he can run away if he feels like it. He bought some roses on his way to the muggle entrance of the wizarding world. After 15 mins of walking, Harry decided to use magic.
In no time he was standing in front of Ginny Weasley's apartment in Hogsmeade. He could see the castle and he realized that it would've been impossible for him to walk to Scotland from London. He was about to knock when he heard an airy "hey!" Which made him yelp and jump.
"Heyyyy Ginn–y–vra. Hey Ginevra!", he said awkwardly trying not to embarrass himself even more. Ginny smiled when she saw the roses and asked, "Those for me?"
"Oh these? Nah.", Harry said without thinking. "Oh wait no! I mean yes. These are for you. I am–"
"Harry, call down!", Ginny kept her hands on his arms. And Harry forgot what 'calm' meant at that moment and became even more nervous.
"I think I can't breathe.", he said while taking very deep breaths. Ginny was brought inside as he was sweating a lot. She realized that he was having a panic attack and asked him to sit down on the sofa. She cranked up the fan and brought him a glass of water with glucose in it. After a few minutes, Harry was calm and feeling a lot better.
"Better?", she asked as Harry finished the glass of sweet water. He nodded, "Sorry about that. I don't know what happened."
Ginny assured him that it was alright and asked "Why did you come here?"
Harry laughed nervously before sitting up straight, "Well, you remember yesterday?"
"Of course, I do, bum boy.", she said with a grin on her face. This made Harry more embarrassed and more nervous.
"Yeah, sorry about that.", he said. "I– are you single?", he didn't wait for her response and asked, "Do you want to go on a date with me?"
Ginny smiled and nodded.
"Is that a.. yes?", Harry asked.
"You are such an idiot.", she kissed him. Harry immediately kissed her back, and it was just like their first kiss. The perfect kiss and after several sun-kissed days, they pulled away.
Harry sheepishly grinned before asking, "Just to be sure, it was a yes, right?"
"Oh for fuck's fake, Potter."
