A Sweet Mistake

I was getting married in two days time to the man I loved with all my heart- Mike Stallings, I was going To be Mrs Betty Stallings. It was incredibly, I remember how I met Mike, it was a fairy tale

*Flash back*
"Hi, you read Earth and space?" A voice said behind me (little did I know he was going to be my husband)

I turned around and met with beautiful Blue eyes, he smiled at me and I smiled back still holding the book in my hand.

"Um...I guess I do" I chuckled

"Hi, I'm Mike" He said giving his hand out for a handshake as I placed my petite hands in his. Looking up to his eyes.

"I'm Betty"  I said

"Sorry, I couldn't help but notice how beautiful you were when you walked into the book store" Mike said (I swear I almost peed on my dress) he was or is so romantic I fell in love at first sight as my cheeks reddened by his sweet words.

"Can we grab coffee" he said nervously and my phone buzzed (my stupid boss, wanting me to prepare a draft sheet to pay workers, damn him not today, satan) "that's if you're not busy"he said glancing at my phone as I slipped it back into my blue pants.

"Of course, it's a lovely day, it's best shared with a lovely guy" ( I don't know how I did it but Mike was blushing) and from that day onwards we started dating and now we are getting married.

*flashback ends*

"Betty Grover!!!" I heard one of my best friends scream as I turned my head around, I was finally getting my wedding gown home, it was beautiful, exceptionally unique. one of the designers where I work actually made it for me. Yeah I'm a fashion designer, I work with the almighty Tommy Bryant. His a big fashion icon and was a model in his teens. He has fashion sense and has a lot of blessed hands working for and with him. I was down at our changing room, testing the already made and finished wedding dress, I didn't want to design my own wedding gown I'd be too nervous about it, so I let lovely Jackson here do her little work but I know she got help from a lot of people.

"Maggie!!" I squealed hugging my best friend just as my other bestie  snooped in-Fiona Lauren

Fiona is a married high-school teacher, she has two kids and a lovely engineer as a husband and I'm so happy for her. Maggie is a real estate manager who still flirts around with guys and still wants to have fun, of course she is drooling over my boss, who I can't deny is sexy and hot as hell. well who cares I'm getting married!!!!!

"You look so dazzling my dear, come on let's take a photo" Fiona squealed as we all leaned in and took a quick selfie.

"You look so beautiful, God!! Mike is gonna drool next tomorrow" Maggie said

I laughed. I couldn't wait for Mike to see this lovely piece on me
"You look lovely, Betty..it's so sad this piece of art will be ripped into shreds" Lovely winked at me faking a heartbreak. As we all laughed "see you Betty, I'm signing out" with that Lovely left.

"She's so....lovely" Maggie said sitting on one of the sofas, she filled her glass with an already opened wine which Lovely kept for me.
