chapter 14

Rose's P.O.V.

I am standing in the middle of the street right now waiting for this car to hit me because I can't live like this anymore. Yes, I my not have a bad life and there are people that have worse but being lesbian and hardly anyone knowing and also knowing that there will people that won't except me will be hard for me to live. Mari is yelling at me to not do this and i keep thinking until the car is about a foot away I feel pressure against my side and then i hit the floor. There is someone on top of me and I roll over and see Luke there.

"You can't leave us lovebug." He says remembering that the last time he called me that it was when we were on the flight over here from Scotland.

"I won't pumpkin." I say to him because i use to call him that to because he use to always find a way to have a pumpkin and carve it or do weird stuff with it. I never really focused on what Luke has looked like lately. He has blonde hair that goes up in a quiff style but like not it is good. He has a lip piercing now that he seems to fiddle with everytime he gets nervous around Mari. He is wearing a plaid shirt that is a muscle tee. He is also wearing lots of braclets.

I didn't realizing I was staring at him for as long as I was because he started shaking me and Mari was next to me as well calling my name.

"Rosey. Rosey are you okay." Mari says one more time as I jump up.

I don't say a word and just walk. They start to follow me and call me name so many times. The time I stopped I was already a block away from the theater and Mari had Luke get the car and follow me as she stayed behind me as well. There was no way of me coming back, all I was able to think of was Kris making out with that one girl and jsut lying that she came on to her and tried to push her off which it was complete bullshit. Parten my french. I sat down at a bus stop and Mari sat next to me.

"Rose. I know that you are going through a hard time but she is a bitch anyway. She is the one that you just don't want to date anyway. The thing with her is that she cant hold a relationship and since you guys weren't dating you wouldn't kiss her or do anything. Kristean is the one that needs to do it with someone. You just need to forget about her and move on." Mari finsihes saying.

That's when I stood up and stared at her.

"We are going out tonight. My parents left and we need to go out and have some fun. Maybe a club. Hmm maybe like we go out of town. We are on spring break anyway right? So lets pack up and go somewhere. Like seattle, orgeon san fransico, LA. anywhere." I say and Mari was definetly not alright with that. She knew i was having a mental break down.

"No, you are going to see your brother." She says standing up.

"My brother?" I question her.

"No i am not going to see my brother I haven't seen him in five years." I say walking more.

"We are going now and I will send Luke to get our stuff for our trip.Plus he can get your car and everything." Mari tells me as I keep walking.

My phone starts buzzing. I grab it and look at it.

"Hello?" I answer wondering who it was.

"We need to talk now." The person on the other line says. It sounds like a male voice. Kinda familiar.

"Who is this?" I ask.

"You didn't save my number in your phone?" The person says.

"I don't know who you are." I say.

"I miss you and need you back home." He says.

"OH SHIT!" I blurt out and drop my phone. Mari catches it and looks at the number.
