"So what exactly were you thinking of?"
"We manage to take my step father out for a while... And roam around his attic." I was practically squealing. "Really?! You don't know what's in there! He could be keeping the TARDIS in there by all means!" I laughed. "No stupid! Only the Doctor has the TARDIS!" That made laugh. But it was a nervous laugh.
"I don't know..."
"C'mon it will be our epic finale to the-things-only-twelve-year-olds-can-do-stuff, or whatever! Pleaaaaseeee..." A pause. Fine, I'll be there in five minutes, we just got home. Let me get out of my itchy suit and get into something comfortable." I started dying of laughter. "Seriously? You're wearing a suit?!"
"Shut up dork"
"Stupid"
"Weirdo"
"Umm..."
"You're out of insults, aren't you?"
"Kind of" that made him laugh. "Be there in a few."A few minutes later, he came climbing in through the kitchen's window. "C'mon! I'll show you the plan!" I showed him the plan that I scribbled onto a napkin.
We were going to ask the idiot to buy another ham. Once he would leave, we would set up a red bowl on the counter, causing him to place the ham in the bowl and scream at it for hours. Ezelia would keep watch and get us if something were to go wrong. It was the perfect plan.
"Step Father!"
"Whaaat?!"
"I am afraid we will need another ham, we've got nothing else to eat for dinner! Can you go out to the market and get one?" A loud sigh came from the attic. "I suppose!" Was the only human thing he did that day. He ran out the door, got into his car, and drove away, going over the speed limit. Typical."C'mon! We haven't got much time left!" So, Andrew and I ran up into the attic.
I paused at the door. "Well...?" He asked. I took a deep breath. "I've just never been in here before... I've never gotten the chance..."
"So... Open it already!" And I did.
Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I was a little disappointed, to be honest. I wanted something... Grand I suppose.I walked into the room. Besides, a table with a collection of tools, there was nothing there. No giant machines standing guard, for the main attraction... Nothing.
"He's back! Hurry, he just pulled in, and... And..." She was cut off by the door opening and shutting. In seconds, he was at the top of the stairs. I couldn't move. He's gonna burn me, I thought. He was going to do something horrible, I knew it.
But before I could react, Andrew quickly pushed us into a closet, and shut the door, breathing heavily.
"Andrew...?"
"Shush! Ezelia is going to try and distract him... Hold on!" He pushed me, and I climbed as far as possible, and curled up into a small ball, behind a box. I made myself as tiny as possible, my heartbeat quickening. Andrew was fiddling with something. I put my hands over my ears, tightly, trying to block out all potential sound, while keeping my eyes shut tight. I heard a muffled scream, realizing it was coming from Andrew. The idiot was pulling him out by his collar, hard. "NO!" I screamed. I got up and jumped to the other side, banging my foot against some thing metal, hard. I winced in pain, as I heard a faint, cracking sound. Pain exploded in my left foot.
I threw my hands at the idiot's neck. I managed to knock him off his feet, as he let go of Andrew. His hands flew up to his neck, naturally. Everything around me, lit up a lime green.
"What?!" Everything around me faded into a pattern of blues as I sunk, farther, and farther, into the ground.
Andrew grabbed my arm, pulled me back from the door, and shut the door.
But the last thing I saw was the idiot's sickening grin, as he shouted, "farewell, and don't worry about your sibling's fates... They belong to me now!"
