~Two Months Later~

I had just gotten dressed and the time was around ten. I had a meeting by twelve with Alex but I still had paper work to do.

Uncle Erickson's funeral was really sad. A lot of unexpected people showed up like the king....yes I said king. Apparently they're childhood friends, no wonder he was the ambassador.

Alex had to reschedule our meeting cause we found out Vanessa's mom wanted to have the funeral as soon as possible. Which is really weird cause the dude just died. People need time to process the loss of their ambassador. Vanessa honestly took it better than anyone expected, she made it look like she never really cared for him but we knew the truth, we knew that was just her coping mechanism than and drowning herself in loads of work. We understood her enough to give her her space.

I got into my car and made course for the office.

When I got out of the elevator, the first person I saw was Sharon hold my cup of frozen coffee.

"Good morning ma- I mean Amy" I nodded in approval.

She read me my schedule while I found my way to my office. I wasn't entirely busy today just a few meetings here and there and a few paper work here and there. Other than that, I was free.

I got sitting in my office and started looking through company contracts and law suites.

A knock sounded on my door.

"Come in" I said and Alex walked in looking handsome and all in his charcoal black suit. He was really handsome but obviously Sandro is it for me.

"Amy....its nice to see you" I stood to shake his hand.

"Likewise Alex. Please take a sit"

We got to discussing about the firm and what we could offer him that other forms couldn't. It wasn't much but I assured him we were the best choice.

We talked about things outside work before he signed and finally left. This will prove to everyone that I deserved that post more than Mark ever did. Nepotism isn't something I hate but when it interferes with my work and dreams that's when I really wished it never happened.
