Have you ever been so embarrassed that you wished the ground would open up and just take you alive? We'll I have in fact I am feeling that way right now. I really shouldn't have said that. But in my defense how was I to know that he would be here. How am I going to get out of this situation? And how did he know I was talking about him? He must have been standing there for quite some time.....and the girls didn't think to tell me that the guy I was about to insult was behind me?. Someone's gonna get a strong talking to.

"Senator Andrews!......what are you doing here?" I ask trying to change the subject.

"I was finishing up a meeting when I saw you and thought I should say hi....hi" This guy! Am I right?

"Hi!?" This is getting awkward. Someone say something and fast.

"Sophie aren't you going to introduce us to your.....friend?" Damn you Vanessa but also thank you.

"Yeah!" Of course he would agree he wouldn't miss a chance to be introduced to a group of beautiful girls who just turn out to be his biggest fans. Mentally sighing and rolling my eyes right now.

Using my 'I hate you' smile, I introduce them" Senator, these are Amanda Collins, Vanessa Porsh, Amira Collins and Sandra Redwood" I say pointing at them all for better recognition.

"Its very nice to meet you Senator" they always just have to show how happy they are don't they? Mentally rolling my eyes again.

"Nice to meet you all but please call me Alex." Rolling my eyes again. I mean doesn't he have somewhere to be or something?

"Oh! Please join us....we were just about to start celebrating." Damn you Vanessa Porsh. I really want to strangle her but no I have to act all nice and all.

Alex wants to say something but I beat him to it " I'm sure he has another meeting or something right?" Please say yes

"Actually no....I'd love to join you" he grabs a sit "What are we celebrating?" None of your business you.....egomaniac.

"Nothing!" Please help me someone!!!

"Oh don't be modest..... Sophie got promoted at work today thanks to you for buying that land." Dang it. Amy I thought you were on my side.

"Oh really?!.......well congratulations!" Does he have to be here? I mean sure its cause of him I got the promotion bit that doesn't mean he has to know about it. He doesn't have to sound so happy.

"Thank you!" Inwardly rolling my eyes right now.

"So......Collins.....You work at A.D&C" Amy nods"I hear they gave the position of Managing Partner to Mark Adams" Yh sure! Go ahead and get to know my friends

Amy rolls her eyes "Yeah! I mean can you believe it? Just cause his dad own half the shares, they thought it was a good idea to give it to that incompetent moron. He doesn't even know how to be The MP. They should have given it to someone who has way more experience, respects the other lawyers in the firm and isn't a complete pushover." Wow! I didn't know she was this mad about it. Amy is the most patient amongst us all but she isn't afraid to tell to 'call a spade a spade'

"That's a shame.......Anyway my company is looking for young lawyers like your self to help draw up contracts and find loopholes. Are you and you firm up for the task?" He's seriously not giving her a job right now......is he?

"Oh My Gosh!!! Yes.....this will be the opportunity to prove that I'm better than Mark......and also to have a new client" I'm happy for her......truly!

"Well I'll come to your office on Monday but will call before then to schedule the meeting" Now he's gone into business mode...... Eye roll!!

"So......do you guys do others things?.....other than look pretty" Is this dude for real? Seriously how many girls does he want in his bed. And I cannot believe that they are blushing..... Mental eye roll now

"Well.....I own the one of the world's top five largest gyms ever" Amira says and I'm pretty sure she's patting herself on the back which she should I mean owning a gym is a lot of hard work. I'm proud

"Right... G.F.G" Alexxxxx! Wow! like yeah! That's all I can say

"I'm the top model in Go Fashion & Get real......I'm also thinking of owning my own restaurant" Vanessa say what!? Why are we just hearing about this now? She needs some strong talking to......but later.

"Well if you need an investor, I would love to help and be a silent partner." Of course you would.

"Thanks you so much" she is literally gushing right now. But I'm happy for her.

"I own the worlds third largest art gallery....Green scape Gardens and I'm also a world known artist" Sandra is the last person I expected to feel proud but she deserves it. I'm so proud of my babies. I mean we have been through some of the worst high school and college years but that just made us even closer. I'm truly proud of am my friends.

"So you all are doing pretty well for people in their twenties." Well duh we have each other.

"Yeah! We wouldn't be able to do that if we didn't have the parents and friends we do now. We supported each other through thick and think and I'm pretty sure we would all do it again" there was a series of yeah around the table. Sandra couldn't have said it any better. I just realised that we are all crying. Thank you Alex.

"Well Sandra, I would like to buy one of you paintings" she nods waiting for him to continue "The Amonian princesses" I cock on eyebrow. Perv much?!

"That's great. I'll have my people send it to you...... Of course with my bill" that's the Sandra I know.

"Of course!.... That's enough about us I mean we are here to celebrate Sophie right so let's get to it" he signals for the waiter and order another round of drinks for us and proceeds to toast.

"To Sophia Sanders for getting a promotion and being one of the worlds best real estate agent I have ever met...... And also for being very beautiful." I feel heat covering my neck and cheeks. We all join glasses and have a drink. Everything is going nice until Alex gets a call, frowns and excuses himself.

I wonder what that was about. Maybe work.... What am I so concerned about anyways right?
