A Mystery Begins
I woke up to a blazing sunlight, argh it's so blinding, well can't sleep forever. I get up and put on a pair of denim jeans with a plain white shirt. I then walk downstairs and pick up my phone. I'm scrolling through the apps unsure of what I want to do, then all the sudden 'bing,' I look and it was Sebastian, I open the chat conversation.
"Hi,"
"Hi,"
"Wyd,"
"Nothing much,"
"Same, by the way did I take last night too far?" This text hits me the hardest with last night's memories flooding back.
"Yes, I mean we're only in the friend's stage, I'm not ready for any romantic stuff,"
"Okay but can we still go on dates?"
"Okay but no romantic stuff."
"So a catch up,"
"Exactly,"
"Okay bye,"
As I went into the dining room I hadn't realized I was so hungry and was looking forward to some food. When I enter to my surprise I see Alexa and Jack eating breakfast.
"Ho-ow did you find my house?" I stammered from the shock of seeing them. I never gave them my address and didn't get the chance to.
"Well your Dad told my Dad that we're all going to have a barbecue so we came over earlier," said Jack.
"Okay?" I said with an unsure tone, that still doesn't explain how you got my address.
"Your Mum told us the address," said Alexa.
"Oh okay that makes sense," I said at least you're not stalking me," I replied sarcastically,
"God! Stalking you? Why would whoever put such an idea into your mind?" Alexa said. "By the way how was the date?"
"Maybe that's why," I said smirking "but come to my bedroom I'll tell you about it there." I then headed off leading the way.
"I'll stay here I guess?" said Jack before turning to chat with my mum. I opened my bedroom door and walked in
"So the date? How was it? Did it go okay?"
"Terrible." I plonked myself on my bed and looked down at my feet before looking up at her again.
"What! How! I don't understand he seems like the perfect guy." Her arms make rapid movements as she speaks.
"Oh, but he is, I was the one who messed up," I said quietly but loud enough for her to hear.
"How? You seem like a nice girl," she whispered
"He tried to kiss me but I didn't want to, so I backed out and that's not the worst part, I ignored him for the rest of the night we didn't even have dinner together," I sighed again and put my head in my hands.
"Wow, are you all right, is he all right?" asked Alexa, putting her arm around me.
"Yes, we are now friends and therefore no-more weirdness," I say, kind of wanting to draw away from the subject.
Then from downstairs Jack yelled "Guys we're going to the beach so get ready!"
Thanks , I need someplace to take my mind off the subject.
