Love Is All What It Takes
I switched off my phone before any sentiment can come up and affect my decision. Then I make my way towards the front door only to be greeted by my parents.
"Isabel, oh honey I'm so glad..." Mum starts off pretending everything is fine but I cut her off.
"No mum!" I yelled at the top of my voice "Everything is not fine!" I held up the piece of paper about my death, my hand shaking as I tried to keep a firm grip on it. My voice dropped to a whisper "Did you know about this?"
"Um..." said Mum looking at Dad like she's deciding whether or not to tell me.
"Did you know," I said staring directly at them?
"We were going to tell you eventually," said Mum quietly.
"Yeah well, I've been living a lie my whole life now!" I shouted angrily.
"I-I just wanted what's best for you to live a full life!" said Mum, tears welling up in her eyes.
"Yeah well, what's best was if I had stayed dead at least nothing would have then been a LIE!" I yelled across at her furiously. Only then did I stop for a few seconds to look at Mum's red face and the guilt and shame slowly rose to the surface in me.
"It's not your mother's fault, she thought she was barren," said Dad sternly.
"Yeah well-," I break off into a sprint leaving my luggage behind as I make my way off into the woods.
I can hear my parents' frantic voices calling me back, but I just want this conversation to end. I want it all to end like it was some big bad dream. But it's not, because dreams you can escape from and I'm definitely not escaping from this problem.

Sebastian finally gets to Isabel's house. Hoping to see her sitting down on the couch with her parents hugging it out or something like that, but no what she sees are two very distraught parents looking into the distance and no Isabel.
"Excuse Mrs...?" Isabel's Mum turns her head.
"Yes?"
"Do you know where Isabel is?" My Mum buries her head into my Dad's shoulder and starts to cry.
"Yes she ran off into the woods," my Dad said pointing to the evergreen woods.
Sebastian thanks them before sprinting to the woods, he is only a quarter way in when he realises that he has no idea which direction he's going. So he decides to stay on a straight path while using the sun as his compass. About halfway in what seems like a never-ending journey Maris appears right behind her, the faint shadow makes her jump out of his skin as he slowly turns around.
"What-what are you doing here Maris? Sebastian asked, "I thought you left for good."
"Yes, but I need to tell you something," Her face is all serious and it's the first time she hasn't spoken in riddles so Sebastian hoped that it is important when he replied
"Yes?" "Isabel's in danger,"
"What!" Sebastian's heart is pounding even though his head seems to register what is happening.
"You need to go to Isabel hurry she's in danger!"
"In danger from what! Who's hurting her!" Sebastian yelled scared for Isabel and when Maris doesn't respond he dashes off into the woods.
