September 3 (morning)

Right after I wrote the journal entry yesterday, I left my bedroom and went into my office. My Cabinet were already sitting in the chairs talking, as if they expected me to come. When I opened the door, they stopped talking and greeted me a good evening. Once I sat down in my chair, they began discussing about the assassination to me.

"Mr. President," said Secretary of Defense Jonathan Smith,"We have more information about this assassination to you."

"What's the information?" I said.

"We believe that the assassins came from Russia. They are not associated with the Russian government. We called Russian President Nikolai Pajari, and he was as shocked as us!" he said.

One hundred years ago, our countries were not really close. We had some disputes, but they did not lead to war. But seventy five years ago, the government of Russia offered to become as close of an ally as Great Britain. They offered to us the Amero-Russ Pact. We gladly accepted the offer and Russia became a very strong ally. We did more science and medical research together. We both did prosper extremely.

"So what association did those Russian assassins come from?" I asked.

"We do not know," he said,"But the Russian government is trying to figure it out right now."

All of a sudden, the door opened and the same three men from the secret service rushed in.

"What's wrong?" I said.

"Saint Basil's Cathedral in Moscow, Russia was bombed!" he exclaimed."Fifty two dead; one hundred twelve injured!"

By this time, I was grasping my chair tightly. I said to myself,"Who are doing this?"

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is John Park with more breaking news of the terrorist bombing in St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow, Russia. The cathedral is completely destroyed. Russian authorities said that the bombers were Russian and that they are no way part of the government. Russian authorities are still trying to figure out if the bombers are in any association with the assassination in London last night.
British authorities said that the police have captured one of the assassins and killed the other one. The captured assassin is not saying anything during interrogation. Face recognition technology gave some details about the assassins. It says they were Russian. We will be right back . . . wait we have more breaking news. There was a bombing in the Louvre, the art museum in Paris, France!"
