I woke up from the heavy feeling I felt on my body.  When I opened my eyes, I found myself in a warm, dark room with bits of sunlight seeping through the heavy curtains. I looked for the cause of the heavy feeling and saw Elijah's strong arms wrapped around my waist.

Umikot ako ng higa para makaharap ko siya only to see that he still wasn't wearing anything but his pyjamas. I, on the other hand, was only wearing the slightly oversized top that Elijah gave me and my underwear. Our position and current get up made me giggle. We looked like a sickeningly sweet couple.

"Awake already?" Elijah asked, placing a soft kiss on my forehead. I nodded at him. "Mhm. Good morning, Mr. Grimaldi," I said, smiling.

Elijah chuckled at me. "Good morning to you, too, love."

We were silently cuddling with each other until his alarm went off. It was finally 6 in the morning.

"What do you wan't to eat? Let's order room service," Elijah said, grabbing his phone. "Already spending your money this early in the morning? It's better to have home-cooked meal for breakfast, you know?"

"I already told you that I am a terrible cook," he said. "Besides, the food they serve are healthy enough. I think."

"If you're a terrible cook, then I'm a master chef. Come on, let's get up. I'll teach you how to cook!" Excited kong sabi. I pulled him up the bed so he had no choice but to follow me into his kitchen.

"You even have this big kitchen. What a waste of space if you won't use this!" ani ko. Good thing that he has stocks of meat and vegetables, though I doubt a siya mismo ang bumibili ng mga 'to.

Elijah brushed the back of his head. "You're right, home-cooked is better. I hire people to cook meals for me sometimes. Today's their day off so I thought of just buying."

"Oh? Then you don't need to hire me anymore, do you?" I teased.

"Oh, that's not true. I definitely need you," sagot ni Elijah.

"You need me but we need to eat first," I said. "Get that rice cooker over there and start preparing the rice. Also, where are your condiments?"

I was taking glances at him while beating the eggs when I noticed that he put too much rice.

"Oh no, that's too much." "This will rise so you need to make sure that it's half a pot at most. Then you have to wash it two times."

"I'm done washing it. Should I put it in the rice cooker now?" Elijah asked.

"Let me see first," I said. "Are you planning to let it sunbathe or something?" I asked.
