Operation: Boyfriend, Gone Wrong!

It was already 2 PM when I woke up. Elijah was sleeping soundly with his arms still strongly holding me. I moved my hand to caress his cheeks and smiled when he flinched from the contact with my cold fingertips. My hands were cold from the air condition, but my body is warm from his hug.

I gently ran my fingers through his hair so as not to wake him up. He was definitely more tired than I was. I have to let my boyfriend rest.

My boyfriend.

I automatically smiled at the thought. I can't believe I'm dating the Elijah Riel Grimaldi. Once upon a time, he was just my best friend's cousin, but now, he's my lover.

I carefully struggled out of Elijah's embrace. After getting up, I fixed the blanket so that it would cover his whole torso and placed a kiss on his cheek before taking a bath.

Matapos maligo ay chineck ko ulit si Elijah, and still, he was asleep. Suddenly, I heard a vibration from my mini table. It was from Elijah's phone. 

Lumapit ako para tignan kung alarm ba 'yun o kung ano. When I picked the phone up, it was a text from Ava Campell. I didn't mean to check the message pero lumabas 'to sa notification sa lock screen so I was still able to read it.

Where are you? Don't leave me alone, Ej. Please.

I bit my lip as I turned off Elijah's phone. I placed it back on the table before glancing at Elijah's sleeping face. I told him everything about me last night, but he still has anything to say to me yet. I don't even know how he ended up with Ava here in the Philippines. I badly wanna ask him about his relationship with Ava, but I also want him to say it on his own accord.

I sighed and decided to cook for our late lunch first before I wake him up. Saka ko na iisipin 'yung kay Ava. I have to solve my own problems with Archie first.

Pumunta akong kusina para ayusin ang mga kailangan para sa lulutuin kong Chicken Alfredo. I heard from Ava last night that Elijah likes pasta, and Alfredo is my go-to when it comes to this. As much as I hate to admit it, Ava probably knows Elijah's likes and habits more than I do. That's why slowly, I'll try to make up for the time that we weren't together yet.

I had my hands busy while cooking for about an hour. Pagkatapos ay naghain na ako, pero tinakpan ko muna dahil gigisingin ko pa si Elijah.

Pagkapasok ko sa kwarto ay mahimbing pa rin ang tulog niya. I sat beside him and rested for a while. Kinuha ko ang phone ko sa bedside table para mag alarm ng 15 minutes, pero agad na bumungad sa'kin ang mga message ni Erika.

Erika (12:30 PM): tangina ang sakit ng ulo ko sana ikaw rin

Erika: hoy tulog ka pa ba?

Erika: ampotaena nababanas ako sa pagmumukha ni Dmitri punta ako diyan mamaya mga 3

Erika: HOY WAG MO AKO UBUSAN NG MAC AND CHEESE HA

Agad akong napatayo nang mabasa ko ang messages ng best friend ko. Tinignan ko ang oras sa phone ko at nakitang pasado alas tres na. Erika will be here anytime soon, shit!
