Archie and I have been real good for a while now. We've been participating at different events and contests, lalo na siya. He's been a lot more active on social media and he's already being noticed by big agencies. I mean, how can they not notice such a talented beauty?
"Hey, wanna hang out bukas?" he asked me as we were having our Math class.
"Free ka?" I glanced at him and he nodded. I gave him a grin. "Sige ba! Sa wakas, free ka na rin ng Sabado!"
"Theo and Archie, stop talking!" sita ng teacher namin. Nagkatinginan kami ni Archie at sabay na humagikhik.
"Psst," he called. Lumingon ako sa kanya. Tinuro niya ang notebook ko bago inilahad ang mga kamay. "Pahiram ako, 'di ko nasundan solution na sinasabi ni sir."
"Ha? Pa'no kung ayoko?" pang-aasar ko.
"Sus, kiss kita diyan eh," mahinang sabi niya.
"Oh? Edi kiss muna bago hiram." I wriggled my eyebrows at him.
"Sige, mamaya ka sa'kin," natatawa niyang sambit.
"Tanginang malalanding hindot," gigil na sabi ng katabi ko.
"Tangina mo rin Erika, bitter ka lang eh porket kakabreak niyo lang ni—"
"Sabi ko nga joke lang eh sige lang maglandian lang kayo sa harap ko anytime any day, kahit maglaplapan pa kayo okay lang, swear!"
Natatawa kong inalis ang kamay ng Erika sa bibig ko. "Ano, 'di ka pa rin maka-move on? Told you he was a loser."
"Pakyu ka gago makinig nga kayo kay sir, sabsay-sabay tayong babagsak sa Math neto eh," she huffed.
"Ikaw lang, idadamay mo pa kami ng babe ko eh," I said, making Archie look back. I winked at him and he just playfully rolled his eyes at me.
"Ugh, pota. Sana all may kalandian, sana all Math lord, sana all may Math lord na..." Erika stopped before giving me a smirk, "...na friend."
Erika was eyeing me as if babagal-bagal o torpe ako. Tangina nito, ah.
Umabot kami sa last peiod nang puro asaran. Homeroon namin ngayon at may mga importanteng ia-announce daw 'yung adviser namin.
"So for our first agenda this afternoon, we'll talk about the upcoming prom next month," the teacher said. Agad na naghiyawan at nagkagulo ang mga tao sa classroom. Probably excited for their dates. My eyes unconsciously drifted to Archie but he was just staring down and playing with his pen. What's up with him?
"Hey," kalabit ko sa kanya. He looked back and gave me a questioning look. "You okay?" I asked.
He just smiled at me and whispered, "I'll tell you later."
