Chapter 7

Gary's pov

We have been walking around to find a camping site for a while know Ashley and Misty are walking behind me and Ash. They seem to be talk about stuff while me and Ash are looking around for a safe place to sleep the night before going to Viridian City while we will stock up on essential there as well as heal our pokemon. "What about here Ash." I said while pointing at a small patch of grass with some trees around to help keep us protected. "That looks perfect Gary." he says while walking towards where I had pointed. "Misty what will you do after we get to Viridian City?" I hear Ashley ask her. " I was hoping to be able to go with you guys so I can help with everything and catch more Water types as well." She said back to Ashley. "I don't mind you coming with us but will have to ask Big Brother and Gary if that its okay with them." Ashley said back to her then started to walk to me and Ash. "Gary, Ash can Misty come with us on our journey please." she asked both of us with a smile on her face. "I don't mind what about you Ash." I said and the smile on her face got bigger when I said that. "I don't mind either." He said both me and Ash looked at each other for a second both saying we wanted to keep her smiling and we both looked at Ashley to see the biggest smile on her face. I knew then that I would do anything to keep that smile on her face. But what I didn't know was how hard that promise was going to be to keep.

Ashley's pov

After asking Gary and Big brother if Misty could join us. I went back over to her while the two boys got to building the tents. "Misty they said yes." I said with a smile on my face. " That good would you like to go fishing know or later." She asked. " Lets wait until after food to go fishing." I said. "Mistress there seems to be a hurt pokemon around here." I heard I looked at my Riolu and see her pointing towards the forest. "Misty I will be right back dont worry I have Riolu and Pichu with me." I said then ran towards where Riolu pointed with both Riolu and Pichu following I could also hear the other shouting my name. "Riolu do you know what pokemon it is." I asked her "Sorry Mistress I don't but it is more then one I think there is four or five I am not sure." she said. "Its okay Riolu after this can I give you guys nicknames if you want them that is." I said still running towards where the pokemon are. We got there and there were up to six pokemon in cages and most of them were hurt. "Look at what we have here a little girl and her pokemon." I heard a man say he was wearing a top with the letter 'R' on it. "What are you doing to these pokemon ." I shouted at him not knowing that what would happen would effect my life forever. "I am stealing them for the boss and what can a little girl do about it." He then sent out a Gastly "Gastly use poison powder on the girl." He said I wasn't prepared so I got hit in the face by it and I knew something was wrong because I couldn't see anymore. "Riolu use Aura Sphere on the Gastly Pichu use Thunder to send them away." I said while trying to see. I hear them using there moves and I hear the cry of pain from the pokemon and his trainer and there was nothing after that. "Mistress it is done but I am sorry that I didn't protect you." she said " It is okay know lets let the pokemon out of there cages," I said feeling around for the cages. I felt something cold under my hand I knew it was one of the cages. "Can you make a nose near the door of the cage for me so I know where to unlock it please." I said to the pokemon inside the cage. "Growlithe." It said I went towards where I heard it and felt for a lock there wasn't one but I could slide it open so I did. "Of you go to the Riolu and wait until I have got everyone then I will heal you all okay." I said the pokemon. it barked at me and them pushed me onto its back and started to walk forward I'm guessing to the nest pokemon cage. "Thank you." I said to it. "Growlithe." it said back while helping me towards the cage. "Can you call out like Growlithe did." I asked the pokemon inside the cage. "Mew." "Oh my god they caught a Legendary how dare they hurt you." I said with angry but felt for the slide to open the cage. "Mew mew." it kept saying when I got closer to where the slide was. "There you go little one be free and find your mother." I said know that this mew was only a baby. "Mistress I have noticed that the pokemon aren't taking to you like they normal do is everything okay." I heard Riolu say. "I am not sure I think when I got hit with that move it did some damage." I said while trying find where the Growlithe went. "Mew Mew." I heard "Riolu can you translate for me." I asked. "Of course Mistress and what Mew said was she can preform a heal pulse to help you." "Mew Mew." "It might not help with the blindness though. Mistress I think you should take up her offer." She said " I will let you help me then I will be able to hear what you guys are telling me." I said "ASHLEY Where are you." I hear from behind me. "BIG BROTHER over here." I shouted back. "Mew use heal pulse on me please then we can help the other pokemon." I said and I could feel a warm feeling coming over me. "There you go Ashley you should be able to understand me again." I heard a female voice. "Thank you mew." I said "Right lets get all the other pokemon out of there cages." I said and then I felt like I was being lift up and up on something. "I will carry you to the other Pokemon, If you don't mind." I hear a male voice which I am guessing the Growlithe. "Thank you lets go." I said and we moves to the nest cage and did what I have been doing with the first to and this went on for a while and we got to the last pokemon cage and let them out. The pokemon that were in the cages were Female Gastly, male Vulpix, Female Skitty, Male Magikarp, Female Feebas. of course the Mew and Growlithe. I helped heal them they are all better and happy but they don't seem to want to leave me. "Ashley there you are we have been looking all over for you." I heard I look around trying to find where the voice came from. "I cant see you please come out from were you are so that Riolu can tell me who it is." I said and I heard leaves move around foot falls form the right of me. "Ashley its me Ash." he said while coming closer I just burst into tears trying to figure out which way he was so I could get up and run to him. "Mistress he is on your right." I hear Riolu say and I get up and ran to were he said and crashed into him. "Big Brother." I said while crying. "Shhh its okay I'm here what happened." He asked. " There was a man he had a top with a red 'R' on it he had lots of pokemon in cages and I wasn't prepared for him he sent out a Gastly and he used poison powered and it hit me in the face and blinded me know I cant see and both Riolu and Pichu sent them away and I started to get the pokemon out of the cages." I told Ash I could tell he wasn't happy because he was shaking. "All the pokemon that I saved wont leave me to go back into the wild where they were before they we caught in the cages." I said. "Lest get back to camp with the others as they are worried about you I will carry you." Ash said while lifting me up. "Come here Riolu and Pichu." I said and I could hear them walking towards me and Ash. "Jump up and I will carry you both while Ash carries me." I said and I felt them on my stomach. We set off towards the camp. "The pokemon you helped are following us." Ash said while walking. "Let them follow Big Brother." I said before falling asleep.

Ash's pov

I had been looking for Ashley for a while. When I found her she was surrounded by pokemon. I said that we had been looking for her and she told me what had happened I saw angry about what had happened. But looking at her sleeping now I am just glad she is okay and safe now. We were getting closer to the camp and I could here that Misty and Gary were talking. "Guys I found her." I said while walking over to her tent to put her in so she could sleep. "Why is there a bunch of Pokemon following you." I heard Gary ask. "Ashley helped them and know then don't want to leave her alone." I said while leaving her tent and seeing the Pokemon she helped got straight to her tent and it seemed they were keeping watch. "Lets all get some sleep and we will talk tomorrow about what happened okay." I said while walking towards my tent. "goodnight guys." I said while getting into the tent.
