Chapter 3

Audrey's POV

It's night time. I've had a lot of time to think. Why is everything going wrong in my life. It all started when Mal and her petty little friends came to Auradon. Mal stole MY boyfriend. I mean I had him first. But she stole him and my crown from me! I was supposed to be his queen! Not her! She doesn't deserve him! I DO! I was crying angry tears while drawing myself with Y/N's crown on in my diary. That crown is pretty powerful. I wonder what would happen if I took it. Just a month ago she decided to give it to the museum. I then heard my so called "Grammy's" words from earlier

"A lifetime of plans...Gone. Your mother could hold onto a prince in her sleep"

Me: I'm so tired of pretending

Where's my happy ending?

I followed all the rules

I drew inside the lines

I never asked for anything that wasn't mine

I waited patiently for my time but when it finally came,

He called her name

And now I feel this overwhelming pain

I mean it's in my veins

I mean it's in my brain

My thoughts are running around a circle like a toy train

I'm kinda like a perfect picture with a broken frame

I know exactly who to blame

I grabbed a crowbar from the fireplace as I continued singing

Me: I never thought of myself as mean

I always thought that I'd be the queen

And there's no in-between 

Cause if I can't have that,

Then I will be the leader of the dark and the bad

Now there's a devil on my shoulder where the angels used to be

And he's calling me the queen

I walked out of my room and to the Museum of Cultural History. I turned off all the cameras and walked towards the Queen of Hearts' crown. Time to steal it

Me: Being nice was my past time

But I've been hurt for the last time

And I won't ever let another person take advantage of me

The anger burns my skin

Third-degree

Now my blood's boiling hotter than a fiery sea

There's nobody getting close to me

Their gonna bow to the evil queen

You're nightmare's my dream

Just wait until they fall to my wicked schemes

I smashed the glass

Me: I never thought of myself as mean

I grabbed the crown and gazed at it

Me: I'd always thought that I'd be the queen

And there's no in-between

Cause if I can't have that,

Then I will be the leader of the dark and the bad

I threw the crowbar to the side

Me: Now there's a devil on my shoulder where the angels used to be

And he's calling me the Queen of Mean

The Queen of Mean (calling me, calling me)

The Queen of Mean

I turned around and saw Maleficent's scepter and a dark magnetic force and voice was pulling me towards it

"~Audrey" "~Audrey~"

Me: Something is pulling me

It's so magnetic

My body is moving, I'm sure where I'm headed

All of my senses have left me defenseless

This darkness around me is promising vengeance

The price I'm willing to pay is expensive

There's nothing to lose when you're lonely and friendless

So my only interest

Is showing this princess

That I am the queen and my reign will be endless!

I rose the crown in the air and instantly, my hair, outfit, and personality changed. I smirked

Me: I want what I deserve

I wanna rule the world

Sit back and watch them learn

I grabbed the scepter and spun around

Me: It's finally my turn

If they want a villain for a queen

I'm gonna be one that they've never seen

I'll show them what it means

Now that I am that,

I will be the ruler of the dark and the bad

Cause the devil's on my shoulder where the angels used to be

And he's calling me the Queen of Mean~

I want what I deserve!

~The Next day~

Your POV

Me and the girls were at Evie's 4 Hearts discussing what had happened. Aparrently my mom's crown and Maleficent's scepter was stolen. I'm in disbelief

Evie: Who else knows about the crown and the scepter

Mal: No one. I mean, think about it, people are scared enough as it is. We have to employ these new security measure

Me: Will this delay our bringing over more VKs?

Mal: We're talking about closing the barrier for good

Me: But you said no. I mean, the 5 of us are living the dream here and we finally get to share that. I mean, what could be more important than that?

Mal: Yeah. I know. I mean, maybe security or maybe a peace of mind for everyone in Auradon

Evie: Is that what they're thinking? And were they seriously thinking that no one will ever go in or out of the Isle ever again? I mean what, we never get to go back to see our parents? And what about these kids? We promised them that they could go back and visit whenever they wanted

Mal: Yeah, I know

I grabbed Mal's left hand as E grabbed Mal's right

Me: M, I'm so glad you're going to be queen. You will be a part of these conversations. You will stand up for the VKs

Evie: Thank you for telling us

Mal smiled at us

Me: Hug it out?

M & E: Hug it out

We did a group hug with smiles, but something doesn't feel right with Mal
