^Inspired by the art^ I'm sorry I don't remember who's art it was. I just started ss tokka art on tumblr

"I don't think boomerang is coming back toph! I think this is the end" Sokka tried so hard to try and not let Toph fall to her death. If anything he would fall with her. Toph couldn't help but cry. She's was completely blind, in the middle of the sky and fire was beneath her. She felt helpless. Toph considered letting go so Sokka wouldn't be in more pain. Before she could say anything an airship crashed into theirs and the two fell on top of the airship.

"How did that happen? did boomerang come back?" Toph asked

"No, Suki did!" Sokka wanted to hug Toph as a sorry but there was no time. They still had a world to save.

After taking down the airships. Sokka walked over to Toph and gave her a hug without saying anything. Toph didn't fight it, He did almost lose his best friend after all. The least she could do was let him hug her.

"I'm so so sorry"he said as tears rolled down his cheeks. Toph couldn't help but cry with him. "I'm so sorry i couldn't hold you any longer" He hugged her tighter.

"It's ok meathead. I'm still here thanks to Suki" Sokka looked up and gestured at Suki to join the hug. Suki walked over to the two and joined the hug. "Thanks Suki" Toph said softly.

Suki let go of the hug to go steir the airship. Toph was going to let but Sokka puller her in tighter. "Let me hold you a little longer" Sokka muffled in her hair. Toph gave back into the hug, "I'm not going anywhere" Toph said. After a few times seconds Sokka let go, "Finally! i thought i was gonna have to fight out of that hug" Toph said and Sokka laughed. Toph punched him in the shoulder and walked away

After Aang defeated Ozai

"Sokka what happened to your leg?" Aang asked as he pointed at his hurt leg.

"Well when Toph and i were on top of one of the airships. Some guards had discovered us and when we were running away from them we slipped and were sliding off the airship. I used my sword to help stop us from falling but it didn't work. I fell onto a board and that's where i hurt my leg"

"Oh, that sounds terrifying"

"He also forgot to mention that i was holding onto him mid air while he was on the board. In other words, i almost died" Toph said calmly

"WHAT! YOU ALMOST DIED! How are you here then!?"

"Suki came at the right time" Sokka said as he looked over at his girlfriend.

"I'm so sorry Toph" Aang went over and gave Toph a hug

"I'm starting to get tired of these hugs" She patted his back as a sign to let go.

"Oh right sorry hehe"

"It's alright"

A/N This is one is more of a friendship one-shot haha. This story is also kinda short haha. I had no idea what to call the thing Sokka fell on so i just called it a board. This would've been longer but im ✨Lazy✨

I might make a second version of this but this time toph dies.....😐
