Tokka one shots

In the rain

Sokka and Toph had a routine of walking home together. They did live in the same street after all.

Sokka walks into the station and greeted the receptionist. He walked up to Toph's office door and knocked. "Come in" he heard from inside the office. He opened the door and saw Toph getting up from her seat. "Hey Toph" He walked in and stood in the middle of the room. "Hey meathead" She said as she walked past him and punched him in the shoulder. "It sounds like it's raining hard outside" She said as she put on her coat.

"Yep, and i forgot my umbrella"

"Me too, but You don't seem like your soaking wet" Sokka chuckled

"I covered my head with like 3 newspapers which all got soaked" Toph lightly laughed

"We can just walk in the rain" Toph suggested

"You sure?"

"Yeah it'll be fun, plus we don't live far"

"Alright ... well let's go have fun in the rain" They walked out of her office and said goodbye to the receptionist. Sokka opened the door and were greeted with a gust of fresh wind. They shivered a little, "Alright you ready to have some fun" Sokka said, Toph nodded "Alright in a count of three we run out" Toph said.

"One....Two-", Before Sokka could say three Toph ran out of the building laughing. "Hey that's cheating!" He said running after her. "Haha" she mocked, She kept on laughing and running until Sokka catched up to her and picked her off the ground.

 She squealed "Got you!" She snorted, "There's that snort" He said putting her down. She punched him in the shoulder "You heard nothing" "Yeah okay" he said laughing.

They continued walking and crossed the street. "You know, being in the rain is not so bad" Toph said. "Yeah, it's fun when your doing it with someone" Him saying that made Toph blush a little. "Ugh my hairs all wet" She complained, letting down her hair from it's usual bun due. Sokka looked at her and saw how beautiful she looked with her hair down even though it was wet. He didn't realize he was starring until Toph mentioned it.

"Hey meathead, just because i can't see doesn't mean i can't tell you're staring"

"Oh sorry, it's not everyday i see you with your hair down you know" He covered for himself

"yeah don't get used to it" she said with a smirk. They continued walking and talking. occasionally running in the rain to get home faster to not get sick. He told her the story of when him and Katara got sick and they had to suck on frogs.

"I swear there is something in the back of my throat and Katara keeps on saying there's nothing!" Sokka argued, Toph laughed at his stupidity. "I mean look at it" Sokka faced Toph and opened his mouth for her to see.

"Oh i do see something" Toph teased

"Thank y-" Then it hit him, "Why do you feel the need to do that?" He pouted and she laughed punching him. "Wow meathead you really are stupid"

"Oh shut up chief dead eyes" He said, they laughed and continued walking

Toph's house was the first on the street. They stopped in front of her house and were about to hug goodbye until Toph slipped on some water. Sokka caught her, but in the process he accidentally kissed her. They blushed as their eyes widened. Toph backup and Sokka looked up clearing his throat avoiding eye contact. "Uhh i'll see tomorrow" Toph said, Before she could take another step away Sokka grabbed her hand and pulled her in for a proper kiss. Cupping her face. Toph was shocked at first but kissed back, resting her hand on his chest. Sokka pulled back and cleared his throat once again, looking away to avoid looking at her. "Alright lover boy, get home before you get sick" She said with a smirk. She turned around and Sokka watched as she went inside her house. Sokka touched his face and felt that he was hot. "I just kissed Toph! and i liked it! ...Do i like Toph?"  Sokka asked himself

Toph closed the door and leaned against it, scooting down to the floor. She smiled and gently touched her lips "I just kissed Sokka on accident. and he kissed me back!"  She stayed on the floor until there was a knock at the door. She laid her feet flat on the floor and sensed Sokka at the door. "Oh spirits i thought he left" She got up and took a deep breath before opening the door. She opens the door and Sokka is standing outside, unsure of what he was doing. He looked at Toph and before She could say anything. They were kissing again ferociously. Toph moved back along with Sokka and he closed the door with a kick.

The kiss was like a drug. Sokka cupped her face and Toph tugged on his shirt. Toph let go of Sokka's shirt and took off her armour, dropping it to the floor. Leaving her in her white beater shirt and green pants. 

Toph wrapped her arms around the nape of his neck and he wrapped his arms around her waist. He picked her up and she wrapped her legs around him. He walked them to her bedroom and laid her on the bed, still kissing her.

In the morning, Toph woke up on Sokka's chest. They were naked under the sheets. He was petting her hair so he must be awake. Sokka noticed Toph was awake and told her good morning. 

"Did we?" She asked, not wanting to say the word.

"Yeah" Sokka replied. Toph could feel his heart start to race.

"And we were sober" Toph stated

"Yep"

"No alcohol"

"mhm" 

They grew silent after that. Not sure what to say or how the other felt. Sokka's heart was still racing, the more he thought about it.

 After thinking thoroughly of what to say, Sokka broke the silence. "Look, i don't know about you but... i enjoyed last night" Toph's stopped breathing for a second, as she wasn't expecting to hear that. She moved her head to face him and to let him know, he has her full attention, "And I understand if you want to stay away from me and-" He was cut off by a pair of soft lips. Toph's lips. He was caught off guard, but kissed her back. Putting his hand under her chin and deepening the kiss. After a moment, they pulled  back. Sokka staring at her beautiful, glazed seafoam green eyes. He could easily get lost in them. 

"I enjoyed last night as well, snoozles" Toph said with a mischievous smile

Sokka smiled and moved forward, to kiss the mischievous smile off her lips.
