Six months later –
We've got our daily lives down to an almost perfect schedule and I'm down to a week away from my due date and we've found out what the gender of the baby is (I'll get to that in a moment); Tyler started daycare three days a week – two months ago and Luke's family is coming for another visit in two weeks to hopefully meet the new baby.
The baby's gender is...a boy! Yup, we're having another boy and we've narrowed the name choices down to Tristan and Thatcher and we're going to decide when the baby is born what his name is going to be when we see him. The baby's middle name is going to be Patrick; so his name will either be Tristan Patrick Carmichael or Thatcher Patrick Carmichael.
Oh, also just as important; Tyler's birthday is in two weeks on April 7th and my oldest baby is going to be 3 years old and makes me sad yet happy at the same time! BTW (By The Way) there's another fundraiser this weekend that all of us are working despite Luke's protest and Tyler is coming with us as we are only traveling to Cheyenne, which is about a ten minute drive; and we'll be driving back and forth every day since it isn't too far of a drive.
Entering the youth organization with Luke and Tyler with backpacks for all three of us for the day plus a bag with extra clothes and toys for Tyler; along with my hospital bag and a bag for the baby since we cannot be overly prepared because we never know when I will go into labor.
"Unca Mi'cal!" Tyler hollers when he spots Mitchell gathering supplies for today (Friday).
Mitchell turns when he hears Tyler hollering and his little feet running toward him; dropping to a knee and opens his arms wide; "Hiya Tyler!"
They tightly hug and Ty is still latched onto Mitchell when our friend/boss stands upright; "How's my favorite nephew?"
"I good; almost th'ee!" Tyler says proudly; showing Mitchell three fingers on one hand.
"That's awesome buddy, you're such a big boy!" Mitchell praises before turning to those of us who are going today; "Everybody ready to head out and do this?"
Everyone responds with a yes; this will be the last fundraiser I will work until after the baby is born and I return to work. I'm taking three months off from work and then placing the baby in the same daycare as Tyler; both will attend three days there and then Luke and I will each take a day off and spend the day with our kids.
"Let's head out so we can set the booth up that Liam and Tyler are going to man while Liam sits down and Tyler plays," Mitchell states starring directly at me to make his point. "Someone will be with Liam at all times for safety reasons."
Pouting at Mitchell as we exit the building with our friend still carrying my son as we head toward our cars; "I don't need a babysitter."
"Yes you do, preggers," Paul jokes as he climbs in the back seat of Luke's car; sitting in the seat behind me as Luke buckles Tyler into his car seat.
Sticking my tongue out at Paul as I climb into the front passenger seat; Luke chuckles as he climbs in the driver's seat as Mary takes the last seat on the other side of Tyler. Mitchell, Monna, Natalia and William are riding in Mitchell's car.
"Papa, no nice," Tyler scolds me for sticking my tongue out at Paul; everyone but me laughs.
"But baby, Paul was being mean to papa," I tattle to him.
Tyler gasps as he turns his head to stare wide eyed at Paul with a deep frown; "No mean my papa."
"Sure Tyler, I'm sorry," Paul promises him, his tone serious; although all the adults in the car know he isn't.
