At 6 p.m. there is a knock on my front door or my small cute house; smiling as I know who is outside of my home as I walk to answer the door. When I moved me and the boys to Salem, Oregon six months ago, I had the help of Luke's parents (Victor and Sonya), I found a small home for the three of us with three bedrooms, four blocks from them.

Sorry for going off course, so back to who is outside my home at 6 p.m. on a Friday night; I know it is Luke's parents and their three boys, who flew in yesterday to spend the week here to visit the family. Opening the door with Tristan on my hip and Tyler standing right next to me to find all five Carmichael's outside the home with gigantic smiles.

"Granma, Granpa!" Tyler hollers as he launches himself into Victor's hold; who chuckles softly at Tyler.

When I work, Victor watches the kids for me as he works from home as a journalist and if he cannot watch them, then I bring them with me to work; I work at another organization similar to the one in Casper. Mitchell gave me a glowing recommendation when I told him the kids and I were moving, despite being upset that we were leaving.

"Hey Tyler, how's one of my favorite boys?" Victor asks even though they saw each other two hours ago.

"I'm good, granpa," Tyler giggles as Vance plucks Tyler out of his dad's arms with a grin at them both.

"Uncle Van!" Tyler squeals as Vance tickles his nephew's belly; Tyler had a hard time with Vance's full name, so he calls him 'Van' instead and it's stuck ever since Tyler was 2 years old.

"Hey Ty," Vance greets back with a warm smile as everyone enters the house; taking their shoes and sweatshirts off.

Vance walks him and Tyler to Tristan and me with a warm smile at the both of us as Tristan hides his face in my neck; "Hey Liam, hi Tristan."

"Hey Vance, good to see you again," I murmur; I've grown closer to all of the Carmichael's over the last year but more so with Vance and Victor.

"Come on in everyone," I say to them all; leading them into the living room.

This family gathering happens once a month and Sonya and Victor alternate with me, as to whose house hosts this gathering and this month is mine; "Dinner will be here in thirty minutes."

Sitting on the floor with Tristan in my lap, next to Tyler and Vance as the others sit around on the furniture as I ask Tristan; "Tris, you wanna play with your toys?"

I was trying to bring him from his hiding spot from my neck but it wasn't working. "Pa," he mumbles, tightening his hold on my neck.

"Tristan, come play with me and uncleVan," Tyler tries to convince him to come out from his hiding spot.

"No, Ty-Ty," he mumbles to his older brother.

Thirty minutes later the doorbell rings, so I stand with Tristan still latched onto me to pay for dinner; I'm surprised when Sonya and Carson join us. "You guys don't have to help," I murmur as they both take two boxes from the delivery gal so I can pay her.

"We know but we want too," Carson smirks as he and his mom walk to the kitchen.

Shutting the door behind the delivery girl after paying her, to join them in the kitchen, where they've already pulled out plates and cups; so I pull soda and milk from the fridge and place them on the counter next to the cups.

"Dinner's ready," Carson tells the others before coming back into the kitchen.

Grabbing a plate for Tyler as I ask him when he's at my side; "Do you want pepperoni or cheese?"

"Both please, papa," he responds bouncing up and down a few times.

"Sure baby," I respond grabbing a slice of each and placing them on his plate.
