Tsukishima sat on his desk as he watched the clouds pass by through the window. It was a windy day. The lush and vibrant greenery that continued to flourish within the borders of Karasuno rustled abruptly, and he couldn't help but glance at them once every so often.

Chemistry class had always bored him out of his mind. Every class did. He wasn't the type to listen to discussions unless it piqued his interest or unless absolutely necessary. Mostly, he would doze off behind the class and Yamaguchi would tap his shoulder to let him know if classes were ever done, or if he gets called by the teacher in some cases - which happens rarely. Despite this bold and dangerous move, to which students would most likely agree upon, he manages to pass every subject, with no tricks up his sleeve or anything of the sort. He just simply studies the night before a huge quiz or exam and wakes up early to study again.

"Tsukki." Yamaguchi's voice called from beside him, interrupting his thoughts and causing him to direct his attention at the brown haired male. "We're on cleaning duty today. Would you mind getting the brooms while I clean the board?"

Classes had already ended without him noticing. Tsukishima stretched on his seat while everybody around them packed up and left. Standing up with a soft grunt and turning to his friend, the blond nearly glared at him for the sudden request, but he decided not to. His gaze, however, was pinned sternly on him. Anyone else who wasn't Yamaguchi at the moment would have certainly taken this as nothing more than a threatening death glare. "Who told you that you could order me around?"

"Sorry, Tsukki." The freckled boy chuckled nervously, and he reached a hand on the back of his head. "Please though? The rest of the cleaners were assigned in other facilities. If sensei notices that nobody's here in our room, he might get the wrong idea."

Slightly, Tsukishima narrowed his sharp, golden hazel orbs at the brown haired boy before a sigh departed from his lips. "Fine."

"Thanks, Tsukki!" From behind him, he overheard Yamaguchi's rather cheery tone of voice as he exited the classroom.

Stuffing his hands in both pockets, the tall blond descended the stairs that lead to the first floor of the school's building, where the supply room was located. Their classroom was situated on the fourth and uppermost floor, which would be a pain if somebody from that part of the building were ever late. Tsukishima didn't mind though. It was actually an advantage as it would serve as a light exercise for him. When he isn't in the mood however, it could get absolutely tiresome.

Getting on the first floor, he passed by a few students before he finally reached the supply room. He was about to open the door, but had stopped midway once his ears picked up soft but audible humming from the other side. This made him stop to listen. From hearing the bouncy and giddy tune, it seemed that the person humming behind the door was having a rather good mood. A huff of annoyance left him.

Tsukishima had developed a great distaste toward cheerful and energetic people throughout the years. Their overly bright, lively atmosphere and talkative nature would be too much for him to bear, and the thought of interacting, or hell, even being alone with one, nearly nauseated him. They were nuisances; annoying pests that wouldn't go away unless they were told to – according to him, that is. He hated how difficult it was to avoid contact with people of the sort, since almost all of them are scattered about.
