It is early in the morning when we reach our school. Last night, Alexander and I came to the conclusion that going to school earlier than usual would be the most convenient if we want to talk to Mrs Martin without any interruptions. She usually comes to school early so now would be the perfect time to seek her out.

We knock on the door of her room but we do not get any response. After standing there for a while, we realize that she has not arrived yet.

"I guess we should come back later," I tell Alexander who seems to be deep in thought.

"It's kind of weird. It's not like her to be late."

"Perhaps we came way too early," I try to persuade him.

"Could be."

We come to the agreement that it would be nice to spend some time out in the small park right next to our school while we wait for Mrs Martin to pass by so that we can see her as soon as she parks her car. About 10 minutes later, she pulls up and parks her car. We share a glance before we nod and go for it.

"Good morning Mrs Martin," he greets pulling his usual nice Alexander act since he isn't sure whether it's good to out himself to her before he confirms his suspicions.

"Morning you two! You're early," she says surprised to see us together this early in the morning.

"The thing is, we would like to talk to you. We thought that coming this early would be the most convenient before others come in," I explain to her.

She looks between us, unsure of why we would possibly ask her to have a talk. It is not like she is hiding the fact that she knows something. It is probably because she did not expect us to seek her out this early in the morning without any prior announcement.

"Sure."

She tells us to follow her as she guides us towards her private rest area. It is rarely occupied by people because of how boring it looks. It doesn't have much; only 3 sofas- one of which is big while the remaining 2 are smaller.

"So, what would you like to talk about? I assume it's something serious and important?" she smiles at us probably knowing the reason of our sudden visit.
