It is hard. I never thought that the day would come where I am running around like crazy after a kid. It is certainly a difficult thing to handle. Although I had a younger sibling when I was thirteen, I didn't have much experience with how to properly look after a baby. In all honesty, babies are cute and all but they're too much work.

"Please stop running, Kaden, I'm tired!" I cry out, pleading to the baby that doesn't seem to understand a single word I say.

He giggles as he keeps on running around while I fall to the ground from exhaustion.

"Haha. Looks like someone's tired," walks in Yazan as he laughs at a panting me.

"You're laughing now but I wonder how you will end up when we leave you to babysit Kaden."

He looks at me with widened eyes as he realizes what I just told him.

"Don't tell me you're leaving me with the baby?" he asks.

I nod.

"That's what we planned to do, remember? Alexander and I are going to hangout with our high school friends whom we haven't seen them since we graduated," I remind him.

"You're leaving me?" He pouts as he puts on his infamous puppy eyes, trying to make me feel bad for him.

"Well, they don't really know you well and besides, we need someone to babysit Kaden. We did agree to look after him since you were the one who suggested we'd do so."

"But I thought you'd help out."

"I did help out. But I still need to go with them," I remind him.

"What about Delilah and Ryan? When will they come back?" he asks hoping for them to return soon.

"They are on a date. They haven't been on one for 2 years now— ever since Delilah fell pregnant with Kaden, so I assume they won't be back anytime soon."

He sighs as he looks at Kaden who is now sitting on the carpet and playing with his toys. He looks back at me with fear visible in his eyes. "I don't know how to get along with babies."
