[Jotaros POV]
I could hear shuffling beside me as I woke up.
"I'm still tired," Kakyoin complained, then snuggled back into my chest. If I was intoxicated last night id have jumped out of my skin if I woke up next to Kakyoin. But I wasn't. I wasn't intoxicated, I did this out of my own will. I had no regrets.
"Hey Nori," I opened my eyes to see Noriaki looking up at me. He was so god damn beautiful. "Why time is it?"
He snuggled back into my chest, closing his eyes, "Check yourself dumbass."
I began to climb out of bed, to which Kakyoin began to complain. I decided I would make breakfast for Noriaki considering the fact he bought the plane tickets, but first, I had to make a call.
"Hey old man," he grumbled, he was probably still asleep when I called him. "I spoke to Kakyoin and told him we were going with him. Also, where did you and Polnareff sleep? I stopped over at Kakyoins."
I heard moving on the other line, "We slept at your apartment considering you left and took the keys with you."
"Yeah sorry about that old man, anyways I better get going, remember to be packed and awake for 11:30, we gotta get to the airport for twelve."
He hummed then hung up. It was around six in the morning so we still had five and a half hours until we had to get to the airport. I began getting ingredients I needed to make breakfast, he didn't have any flour or sugar so I couldn't make pancakes. I just decided to make eggs and toast, nothing much but still a nice gesture. A few minutes after I started cooking I could smell burning, it was just the toast so it wasn't much of a problem. Suddenly, I could hear someone walking from the bedroom towards the kitchen, then I felt arms wrap around my waist and a head rest on my shoulder.
"Awww you're making me breakfast! How kind of yo- oh," Kakyoin opened his eyes to see burnt toast and half cooked but still burnt somehow. "H-How nice, but should we order something from the lobby instead?"
I chuckled, "I'll pay for it, you get dressed you cant be walking around in your pyjamas all day, we have stuff to do."
Kakyoin adjusted his head back on my shoulder, grumbling, "but you're so comfy, and I'm still tired."
I sighed he was too cute to be mad at.
"Okay then, go back to bed and ill wake you up when the food arrives, okay?"
Kakyoin mumbled a quiet 'okay' into my shoulder and I kissed him on the head before he walked off to get back into bed. He's so damn cute.
I called the lobby and ordered some pancakes, what I was originally going to make. It took around ten minutes to arrive so I filled up some time by organising some of Kakyoin's clothes for our trip to Italy. Most of his clothes were already in his suitcase, the only problem was that they weren't folded, they were just shoved in it. I folded up most of his clothes, putting his pyjamas in a pile, shirts in a pile and his trousers in a pile, then I saw something. It was tucked away in one of the pockets of the suitcase. I slowly pulled it out, it was one of my belts from when we were back in Egypt. I put it in my pocket. I wasn't taking it from him, I was going to give it back to him soon.
Then I heard the doorbell ring, I went to open the door and it was our food, as expected. I paid the man from the lobby who brought it up and closed the door. I set the food on the table and went to wake Nori. I kneeled next to the side of the bed Kakyoin was laid on and kissed his forehead.
"Wake up sleepyhead," he opened his eyes, glaring daggers at me for waking him up. "Foods here, I ordered pancakes!" Now he woke up, rushing to the kitchen to get the pancakes.
"Wait a second Kakyoin," he put the pancakes back on the table and stood in front of me. I took the belt- which was made of fabric so it wouldn't hurt him- and wrapped it around his head like a bandana, before reaching down and kissing his forehead.
"Perfect."
Kakyoin started blushing before taking the pancakes once again, running into the bedroom and locking the door.
"Kakyoin! you took all of the pancakes!"
he unlocked the door before opening it slightly so he could talk through the crack, "You're so sweet and kind in the morning! Why can't you be like this all the time?"
I chuckled, Kakyoin made me smile, "can I at least have some pancakes? if not ill just get dressed and come back later."
Kakyoin looked like a lost puppy.
"Don't leave me."
"Give me some pancakes then."
Kakyoin paused, shutting the door and locking it.
"No!"
So I walked to the bathroom and got dressed, to see an angry-looking Kakyoin in the kitchen once I returned.
"You left me."
"You didn't give me any pancakes."
He nodded, "True."
I walked over to him and kissed his forehead again, wrapping my arms around his waist, "Do you forgive me?"
He shook his head, "maybe later."
He smiled and laughed as he went up on his tiptoes to kiss my forehead. I had to help him out by crouching down a bit.
"Kakyoin," I still couldn't believe that this boy was once my enemy. "after you joined Passione. Did you ever try to contact me? Try to find me somewhere?"
He stood silent for a second, then nodded, "I did, i could've been killed for it. Passione never wanted me to find you again, that was their advantage. No one but them knew I was alive. I have a code name, Verdeancho. It's quite clear I'm not from Italian origins but I still need the name, otherwise, people will know who I am."
Nori hugged me, resting his head on my shoulder and wrapping his arms around my neck, "I never expected to see you again. I missed you so much. I can't even believe that I'm stood here with you."
"I missed you too," I never show much emotion. It was a barrier i had built up over time. I could let that barrier down when I was with Noriaki. "I missed you so fucking much, Nori."
A/N its fucking 5am i really need a sleep schedule.
