[Jotaros POV]
I had already found an apartment I could stay at after a couple of weeks but Luca had insisted I stay at his apartment and I did. Me and Luca had grown closer through those weeks.
"Jotaro," Luca was in the other room, shouting my name and dragging out the 'o'. "Put your fucking clothes in the way-"
As Luca spoke he walked closer and closer to my room until he stood in the doorway. He paused when he noticed I was laid on my bed, shirtless, looking at a photo we took while we were in Egypt.
"Jotaro," his voice sounded concerned. He sat next to me in the bed.
"What's up, Joot?"
i shook my head, "Its dumb."
"If you're this upset about it it's not dumb. Stop telling yourself that."
I chuckled a bit. "When we were in Egypt, it wasn't just some fun trip or whatever you want to call it. We had a reason to be there."
Luca nodded.
"We went to Egypt because if we didnt my mother would die. There was a man named DIO, he had grandfather's body. Because he had stolen his body and developed a stand everyone related to him had also
gained a stand, one of those being my mother."
I could see the look on Luca's face, he knew where this was going.
"My mother wasn't strong enough to control her stand, therefore it slowly killed her. If we didn't kill DIO within fifty days my mother would've died. We ended up killing DIO, though he killed three of our friends along the way. One of them was Nori."
Luca noticed my discomfort.
"You don't have to carry on."
I shook my head, "No I want to."
"I had to watch Nori die, I hadn't even known the other two had been killed until someone said something. I had no time to grieve them, i couldn't. I had to kill DIO."
I sat up and hung my legs off the edge of the bed.
"I'm sorry Jotaro," I looked back at him. He was a completely different person from when I had first met him. "I'm sorry you had to go through that."
He sat next to me and hugged me.
"they'd have been so proud of you right now, you've grown so much."
I nodded, smiling.
Luca's phone buzzed, "Oh its Sienna, we've gotta meet somewhere, one of the capos have given us a job."
"Oh," I'll have to see Nori again. We haven't spoken much since the incident.
We quickly got ready and drove out to a small, isolated cafe, run by friends of the mafia.
We met the others there.
Everyone else was already there, everyone but Noriaki.
"He said he would drive by himself," I was shocked for a second then remembered Sienna's stand, Mindfuzz. I laughed it off and we waited for Noriaki to arrive.
He took around ten minutes.
The others were confused as to how and why I and Luca were talking to each other, making jokes and laughing at nonsense.
"Are you guys...sick?" Marco was the first to speak up about it, to which I and Luca burst out into laughter.
In-between wheezes I managed to say, "S-Sick? Why would we be sick?"
Sienna rolled his eyes at Marco, "It appears they managed to become friends, even live with each other I've heard."
As Sienna finished his short explanation Kakyoin walked in, "Whose living together."
"Took you long enough." Luca chuckled, smiling.
"Luca and Jotaro, they seem to be sick." Marco mocked Sienna's bland tone, to which Sienna threw a fork at him, which he barely dodged.
"Is that so," Nori looked over to Luca, avoiding me. "So you two are friends."
Luca rolled his eyes. "Something like that."
"Don't pretend you don't love me."
Luca began to blush and turned his face away from me.
"Is there something...else going on with you two?" Alessio scrunched up his face.
This sentence seemed to peak Noriaki's interest.
"I was just kidding, Luca," I chuckled, looking over to him. "Why so tense?"
Luca awkwardly laughed before turning back to the table. Noriaki sat next to Marco and Alessio.
"Oh, shit-" I pulled out my phone before dialling a number.
"You good, Joot?" This nickname also peaked Nori's attention.
I put a single finger to his lips, shushing him.
He picked up after three rings.
"Jotaro! It's been weeks neither I nor Polnareff has heard anything from you."
I chuckled a bit, "Sorry, old man I've had some stuff going on."
He brushed it off quickly. The others stared at me in confusion. All but Nori.
"Anyways how 'ya doing?"
"Not bad old man, how about you and Polnareff?"
"Can't say much for Polnareff but he's been trying to talk to some girl from the lobby. And I'm okay, thanks."
Joseph finished his sentence just before Luca took my phone from my hand, putting it to his ear.
He put on a girly voice before talking into the microphone, "Hellooo this is Jotaro Kujo's girlfriend! I'm going to need to take him off your hands because we have some very important business we need to get to." He said the 'very important' in an over-sexualised manner and then hung up.
I snatched my phone back from him, "The fuck was that?!"
"You called your gramps in the middle of s meeting?" Luca practically began crying with laughter before Alessio's stand came out to threaten him and he calmed down in a matter of seconds.
"Sorry."
"You scare me, Lorenzo." he flashed me a wicked smile before we carried on with the meeting.
