Chapter 4

In the Dressing Room

"So Lucy, did you get a good look at your client tonight? It seems he couldn't take his eyes off of you." Mira teased.

"Sh-shut up, Mira!" Lucy turned scarlet as she started getting ready for her performance.

"He is so hot, too!" Cana mentioned with a smirk.

"Oh my god,! It's gonna start with a lap dance, then you're gonna get lost in each other's eyes and kiss, and that'll lead to bedroom stuff and then you're gonna get married and have 33 bab-" Mira starts fangirling.

"OKAY! That's enough out of you Mira!" Lucy cut her off.

"33 pink haired babies..."Mira whispered.

"WHAT?" Lucy stumbled putting her boots on as Mira said that.

Lucy's outfit for her act is a black bikini with red, orange and yellow flames starting at the bottom of both pieces and working their way up, matching thigh high boots, and a black sleeveless cloak that had a similar flame pattern. Her hair is in a high side ponytail tied with a black ribbon. Her make-up is simple with just eyeliner and mascara, red eyeshadow with a gold glitter overlay.

Out in the front of the house, a catwalk has been added to the stage. Natsu is laughing at an insult Gajeel threw about Gray and how he should work in a place like this since he likes to strip so much. The lights suddenly go out. Although, they can't see it, they can hear the curtain rising. Natsu can see a silhouette of someone on stage. Freed announces over the loudspeaker,

"Ladies and gentlemen, please allow me to introduce our first performance of the night, Bunny Girl!" The music starts.

Lucy begins walking the stage and up the catwalk. With every step she takes, flames and pyrotechnics go off, lighting up the area and intermittently revealing bits of Lucy to the crowd. Natsu is in a trance. The strobe lights start going crazy and the spotlight is on Lucy, following her around the stage. When Natsu realizes it's the blonde he couldn't take his eyes off of earlier, he immediately thanks Mavis above for his friends and this club, considering earlier he was thinking the worst for his encounter later on. Lucy turns to walk the catwalk, straight toward Natsu. She walks straight, thighs touching, one foot right in front of the other. Halfway down the catwalk she turns and starts stripping her off the cloak leaving her in just her bikini and boots. She does a back bend so that she is now looking at the guys upside down. She kicks her legs up so that she completes her back flip. Her plump ass is in full view of Natsu. He is drooling.

Gray, Gajeel, Jellal and Bixlow are going crazy for Natsu, feeling like their friend is finally getting some attention. She twists in front of him and kneels down, slowly crawling closer to him. Still in his trance, he leans toward her. His eyes finally make contact with hers. She has the most beautiful, sexy, mischievous chocolate eyes he's ever seen. Lucy reaches out and pulls his face towards her so that she can say in his ear (because who's whispering in a night club?)

"Can't wait to give you your birthday surprise, Hot Stuff."

Natsu's jaw drops and his eyes widen as Lucy giggles and pushes him back towards the couch he and his friends have been sitting on. The guys are yelling in his ear and shaking him, congratulating him on getting such a gorgeous woman as his personal entertainer later on.

Lucy dances to her heart's content while stealing glances and smiles at her very attractive, salmon-haired client.

'Maybe this job later on won't be so bad.' Lucy thinks to herself. As the song ends, Lucy makes her way back to the stage. Many whistles and cheers can be heard for her throughout the club. She gives Natsu a little smile, wave and a wink as he remains seated, still flabbergasted that such a beauty actually exists. When he finally comes to his senses in time to see Lucy's gesture, he gives a little wave back and a grin. The curtain then falls to prepare for the next act.

The guys start yelling at Natsu again, trying to hype him up for what's about to come.

"Damn I am so jealous of you, Pyro! You got someone as gorgeous as her?! How the fuck do you get so lucky? And you don't even want that kind of attention!" Gray shouted at Natsu. Grays smile faded as he noticed Natsu wasn't reacting to his rant. Natsu had a thousand yard stare and he kinda looked like he was going to pass out.

"Hey Salamander, you alright? You ain't lookin' so hot." Gajeel asks.

"Natsu, what's going on man?" Jellal kneels in front of him and gets close to his face. The pink haired man makes eye contact with Jellal, gulps and says to the rest of his friends,

"Guys..." he takes a deep breath and continues, "I think I'm in love." The guys stand back and give each other shocked expressions. This was not the Salamander they knew. The Natsu they knew didn't want anything to do with romance or love or anything of the sort. Sure, he loved his mother and sister dearly and would do anything for them. But love at first sight? Destiny? Fate? This was a new development for their friend.

"Well Natsu, then you better make sure she deserves that love." Bixlow says.
