After Isadora's morning walk, she found Klaus waiting for her in front of her house with a smirk on his face.

"Good morning, love," Klaus greeted, moving to give Isadora a kiss on the cheek.

Isadora sent a smile, remembering the last time she talked to the Original. She was heartbroken when she found out that her friends were stolen by Stefan, a man who she used to trust with her problems and life. Stefan turned into someone who was hungry for revenge.

"Would you-" Isadora's offer was cut off with Klaus shaking his head with a small smile.

"Do not finish that sentence, love. It's best to have a place for yourself where you know you can be safe. Even if it's from me," Klaus said honestly before motioning for the girl to go inside. "Change. I'm taking you out today."

Isadora laughed. "Pushy," she teased. "Are you gonna stay out here then?"

"I'll be getting the car. I'll be back in a few minutes," Klaus said before speeding away, leaving Isadora alone.

When she got in, she did her usual routine of eating her overnight oats and taking a shower afterwards. Caroline found her cousin getting ready to leave, making her curious.

"Where are you going?" Caroline asked as Isadora passed by her room.

Isadora smiled at her cousin and replied, "Nik says he's taking me out today."

Caroline cringed, still not liking the fact that her cousin would meet up with the hybrid. Compared to Elijah, or even Rebekah, Klaus was different– more dangerous.

"Be careful around him," Caroline said.

"I'll be fine, Care. It's just Nik. He won't hurt me," Isadora said confidently, sending another smile before leaving.

As soon as she got out, she saw Klaus standing by his car with his arms across his chest, patiently waiting for the girl with a small smile.

"Are you ready?" Klaus asked, opening the door for Isadora.

"Where exactly are we going?" Isadora asked back just as she was about to go in.

"Well, your friends are currently at the Grill. Maybe we can get answers on Stefan's whereabouts," Klaus explained, making Isadora chuckle.

"Dragging me to go casket hunting. Fun," she said sarcastically as she entered the car.

The car ride to the Grill was quiet with Klaus' soft jazz playing in the background. It was weird, seeing as Klaus seemed to always be the chatty one. Yet, here he was, driving in silence.

"You okay, Nik?" Isadora asked worriedly, breaking the silence.

"When am I not okay?" Klaus answered, almost arrogantly. But Isadora can see right through him.

"From the visions shown to me by the woods along with what I've seen from you, I'd say most of the time with a side of I'm a tough guy front," Isadora said sarcastically, causing Klaus to laugh.

"If you were any other person, I would have snapped your neck," he warned. "But, my brother has told me that you would be important to this family. Therefore, you stay alive and breathing."
