┕━━━━━━━━✿━━━━━━━━┙Kol didn't sleep that night. Occasionally, he would shake Isadora awake from a nightmare, only for the girl to drift back to sleep. He spent the whole night watching over her, not that he minded. He would easily drop everything to help the young nymph. It still bothered him that Isadora felt the pain of his brother's death but not the entire sireline.
When morning came, Isadora didn't wake up early like she usually would. It messed up the routine she always had, but she was still exhausted. So it was no surprise that Isadora slept like a log despite her phone ringing out loud, notifying them that there was a call.
It was Kol who picked it up, answering with, "Isadora is sleeping. Do you have a message for her?"
"Kol, please tell me you're out of town," Kol heard Liz's familiar voice from the other line.
"We're actually at the apartment," Kol replied, looking down at Isadora who still had a frown on her face. "Is something wrong?"
"The pastor just took my badge," Liz replied. "I won't be able to protect Pix and Caroline. You should've been on the run already last night. Ric just told the council how we've been protecting vampires because we're related to them. They're coming for every vampire in this town and they might get Pix too. You should leave town."
"You don't have to worry about us, Liz," Kol reassured. "Isadora still hasn't woken up from last night's events. We might not be able to leave the apartment today. But as soon as she's feeling better, I promise to have her out of this town."
"Thanks, Kol," Liz said with a relieved sigh. "I'll give you an update later on what's been happening out here."
"Thank you, Liz," Kol replied. "If you hear from Rebekah, please do let me know. Elijah left town last night."
As soon as the call was cut, a grunt escaped from Isadora's lips.
Great. Looks like another one of them was caught by the council.

Liz decided to drop by the Gilbert house given the recent attacks on the town's vampires. She was worried that the Gilberts and the Salvatores may have been hurt by the attacks.
But when she got to the house, she only found Damon who was cleaning up the mess that their town caused in that small space. Meredith was also in the house, having been responsible for Elena's sudden transition to vampirism.
"They're gone," Damon said when he noticed his friend enter. "Whoever nailed Rebekah, took them too. Please tell me you have something. Anything."
Meredith entered the living room when she heard that the sheriff was there.
"I can't," Liz replied to Damon. "The Council locked Carol and me out of our offices. Files, computers, everything."
"So, the Mayor and the Sheriff never contemplated a backup plan, Liz?" Damon exclaimed in frustration as worried about his brother and Elena.
"Damon, relax," Meredith said in a more calm tone. "When Caroline called to say she got away, did she know where they were planning to take her?"
"So Care got out?" a familiar voice asked, making everyone turn their attention to the nymph who entered with Kol.
