The good thing about having a family member graduating at the same time as you was that you can help each other and split the work. In this case, it was mostly Caroline who has been helping Isadora fix all of the arrangements for graduation while the nymph focused on college applications and plane tickets. It was that way for the next month with a little witch cleansing on the side.

But with the day for graduation fast approaching, Caroline knew that they couldn't graduate without being complete.

"Pix, I know you guys aren't on the best of terms," Caroline started. "But maybe this could be a chance for you two to fix your relationship. Somewhere deep down, she's still the Elena we knew. Beneath her scheming and the sudden need to constantly irritate everyone into killing her, she's still the girl we had sleepovers and watched Nicholas Sparks movies with."

And Caroline was right. Elena had a lot of flaws, that's for sure. But that doesn't mean she couldn't change. And with Isadora's limited time left in Mystic Falls, she knew that she had to spark change in her friend before she left. The least she could do was give Elena a wake up call.

Together, Caroline and Isadora practically stormed the Salvatore house, with the taller blonde having more force. And of course, Stefan was quick to greet the two.

"Where is she? We wanna see her," Caroline demanded, making Isadora sigh as she followed her cousin.

"We're not letting anyone see her, that's the whole point. Isolation leads to misery leads to emotion," Stefan explained as Caroline continued to look around.

"You do know that isolation isn't the only way to induce misery, right Stef?" Isadora pointed out as she watched the other two, earning a look from Stefan. The nymph simply shrugged and stuck her tongue out at Stefan. A very childish move which she hasn't done in a while.

"She's been here for days. She hasn't improved at all?" Caroline asked Stefan.

"Look, she doesn't want to, Caroline, not yet," Stefan explained. "She's devastated; she lost her brother, she-she attacked her friend, she killed an innocent woman."

"Well maybe if Day didn't tell her to shut her humanity off in the first place, we could have found a better coping mechanism to that devastation," Isadora pointed out, earning another look from Stefan. "What? I'm just saying, Damon isn't actually the best therapist out there. Having someone who runs away from emotions to encourage that behaviour to someone who just suffered a loss isn't the smartest move, even if Elena was sired to him."

Caroline didn't want to voice it out, but she did agree with Isadora. She turned her attention to Stefan and said with a defeated tone, "You said that you knew how to help her."

"I did say that. We are," Stefan defended.

"What, how? By torturing her?" Caroline exclaimed.

"It's not torture," Stefan said, only to be cut off again by Isadora.

"Yeah, if it was torture, I should be hearing screams right now and there would be actual results," Isadora pointed out.

"Will you stop criticising our methods," Stefan requested, making Isadora raise her hands.

"Good therapy should always accept criticism, especially when it's not working," Isadora said with a smirk before motioning for the kitchen. "I'm gonna make myself a smoothie. Anyone want one?" When she only got an exasperated look from Stefan and Caroline, she chuckled and added, "More for me then."
