┕━━━━━━━━✿━━━━━━━━┙Three days.
For three days, Klaus watched Isadora go through the pain of Kol's dying sireline and the pain of losing someone so important to her. Isadora refused to leave Kol's side, and Klaus couldn't do anything as he was trapped in the living room of the Gilberts' house.
He pleaded for her to drink water. To get a snack. But she did none of those. Instead, she spent most of her time crying and sleeping on the cold floor.
Klaus also noticed how Isadora's phone would occasionally vibrate in her pocket, probably from Caroline and Liz's texting. Of course, the young vampire would be notified by her friends on how the mark would have been completed. But what confused Klaus was why Caroline didn't see them after she found out.
He also received calls from Rebekah, but knowing the girl's priorities, he refused to answer his own sister. Rebekah wanted nothing more than to leave their immortal ways and he knew that she would be going after the cure with the rest of Kol's murderers.
The opening of the front door caught Klaus' ears as he heard someone enter the house.
"Morning, sunshine. You look pathetic," Tyler said in a taunting voice. Klaus could only assume that the younger hybrid didn't see Isadora's grieving form.
"Only until Bonnie's spell locking me in here wears off. Then I'll look different," Klaus said before finally looking away from Isadora and Kol. "Angrier, perhaps. Or I won't look like anything because I'll have gouged your eyeballs from their sockets."
Isadora listened to every word. She tried her hardest to block everything out but nothing worked. She wasn't thinking straight. She was aware of everything and nothing.
"My friends will be back with the cure by then. So, I could shove it down your throat and make you mortal," Tyler arrogantly replied.
There it was again; the anger towards the people she grew up with as they slowly tore her life apart.
"I'm an Original," Klaus retaliated. "What makes you think my entire vampire bloodline won't be cured along with me? I.e., you."
Fear. That was what Isadora felt through Klaus. He was afraid of what was to become of him.
"You know what I think? I think that's impossible," Tyler continued. "I think the moment you stop being a vampire, our whole blood connection to you is broken, and your sire-line ceases to exist. So, whatever happens to you, happens only to you, which means I can kill your ass and no one else has to die. Although I am still debating just how to do it."
Klaus sped towards Tyler, only to be blocked by that wretched barrier that kept him trapped. "I recommend drowning. There's nothing quite like the feeling of someone fighting for something as basic as human breath. And let me tell you, your mother was a fighter," Klaus taunted back.
The sound of footsteps caught their attention, only to see Isadora who was finally standing up, glaring at Tyler. She was fuming at Tyler's threat of killing another Original, no matter how much of a pain in the ass Klaus has been to her.
"You think this is a joke, don't you?" Isadora said in a flat tone. "I give you the idea of breaking your sire bond and you repay me by attempting to murder my brother."
