Link had been trekking the mountainous terrain of Hebra, passing over the fields of Hyrule a day prior. He was in search for his developing love and the king she had grown so fond of. " You'll be mine some day, may it be the day I kill him? " The hero chuckled, flashing his pearly white teeth towards the falling snow. Link was draped in heavy clothing to protect him from the harsh weather, his trusty steed draped as well. Neighing aggressively, Epona rattled her head vigorously as she continuously paused, the horse had become tired of convoying the mountains. " I'll give you more apples and you can rest later girl, we need to find them first. " Patting the mares cold mane, the hero pushed his horse through the dense snow as they approached a set of beautiful stallions resting in a small stable next to a nicely sized lodge. " Ganondorf's horse is black... Silver steed though? Did he buy her a horse? " Questioning his own knowledge, the young knight dismantled himself from his mare while as the horse huffed. " Can you knock it off? " He whispered to the horse, Epona shaking her head aggressively triggering the hero to open a small pouch filled with delicious fruits and vegetables. " Ugh, here.. " Throwing a large quantity of the vegetation onto the snow covered ground, Hyrule's appointed knight quickly closed the pouch before undressing himself of all loose items, taking extreme caution not to be noticed by anything. " I need to get her alone somehow.. " Scanning his surroundings, Link hawked the lit up lodge. It was wooden, covered in snow and had a barrage of larger windows, Y/N resting in the nearest sill. Her E/C eyes lit up at the sight of the falling snow, her plush lips moving yet no words could be heard nor could another being be seen within her presence. " Hmm.. " Constantly stalking the occupied building, Link had conjured a plan to draw the king out and away from the alien. " Here goes nothing... " Creeping towards the wooden stable, the voe scooped a small amount of snow into his hands and began to roll it in his palms. " I've always hated you.. " He mumbled, launching the snowball at Adria triggering the house to neigh loudly and rear the wooden gate keeping her in. " Okay I didn't expect you to kick the gate open. " Quickly scampering around the stable, Link bolted towards the lodge simultaneous to hiding below the windows, keeping him prone until Ganondorf came out. " What was that? " Y/N questioned, her soft voice muffled by the wooden walls. " Me. " Link chuckled lightly, creeping his way further around the building just as the king opened the door and scanned the surrounding area. " We have a visitor, your boyfriend is around here somewhere.. " He growled, panning his view back to the discombobulated vai. " He forgot to hide his horse. " " Shit.. " Adrenaline began to course through both of the men, high anticipations of obliterating each other becoming all too real as Ganondorf searched for the disturbance. " You better hope I don't find you. " The gargantuan beast warned, trudging towards the stable harbouring his mare. Link managed to slip past the guard dog, quietly sneaking into the lodge as he faced a confused Y/N sitting close to the door. " What the hell? How did you find me? " " Educated guess. " He lowered his eyes, the divinity twisting her head in thought. " You obviously came here for a reason, you don't have long before he comes back. " She warned, the triforce-bearer hastily approaching the woman as he gripped her hands tenderly, observing them intensely. " When will you be back? " He questioned, the royalty furrowing her brows harshly. " Why? " " I need answers about why Zelda is hiding stuff from me and why her hand is messed up? " Y/N began to laugh, her S/C shoulders jumping preparatory to the hero diverting his glacier blue eyes to her bright E/C ones. " If you head a little further up, there are the ruins of a small village.. Meet me there at two in the morning. We'll talk more about it then. " She smiled, pulling her hand from the hero's grasp concurrent to the male bowing respectfully. " Yes Lady Y/N. " He smirked playfully, the mother returning the gesture as she waved him off. " Get out of here, he's coming back now. " Taking heed, Link discreetly slipped out the occupied building just before the king returned with a look of annoyance. " Are the horses alright? " " Adria broke the gating.. So I have to pay for that and find her somewhere else to stay. " His golden eyes flashed in agitation, veins protruding underneath his skin. " Just keep her in the stable babe, I don't think she's going to run off. " Y/N reassured, smiling warmly at the Gerudo. " What did Link want? " " The Princess.. " Scratching her head slightly, the vai tried her best to conceal her laughter as she pondered her recent encounter with the triforce-bearer. " What about her? " " Why her hand was messed up and why she refused to tell him the truth. I'm positive she blamed me for her hand but she needs to blame her fucking self for being physical, " Standing from her position on the loveseat, the mother sauntered towards the tall male in anticipation of gently rubbing his large arms. " I already warned her ass about coming to the castle. Next time she shows up, she might not make it back. "
