" Is there anyone left? " Y/N asked, watching the duo take leave hastily as the sun's unbearable heat scattered across the sand. " ... " " I figured, he told me they were on the brink of wiping out the Gerudo race..., " Realization coming forward, the mother gazed up at the distressed voe. " You were the only one left... So why didn't she do it? " Dividing his attention to the beautiful being, Ganondorf imprinted every feature of her distressed state over him. " Because she can't beat me by herself.. You managed to find him before she could channel him.. You are the reason we aren't wiped out. " Turning his heel sharply, Ganondorf sauntered back towards their home as his wife watched, Storm wrapped tightly in her embrace as he slept quietly. " Why.. " Tears rolled down her red cheeks, eyebrows furrowed in sadness as bodies laid around her. A new sight she'd never forget, branded into her memory for eternity, but this branding came with a lot of intelligent rage. " You found him.. " Panning her head, the queen searched for the all too familiar voice, Link's dirty blonde hair peaking from the hood of his attire as he stood, facing the new Gerudo leader. " I did.. " Pulling her cloak off, Y/N gently wrapped the fabric around Storm to protect him from the harsh sun, his cheek pressed into her shoulder with drool slipping out the corners of his
mouth. " You're princess did have him.. The phantom was just an alibi. If I would've never found him then Ganondorf and Storm would've been dead... My world, crashing down. " Widening his orbs widely, the knight gestured angrily. " Wait.. You found Shadow? And you didn't tell me? " " He was the key, I wasn't giving him up. " " Y/N ! What if he would've killed you? " Yelling in aggravation, the mother cocked her head in shock as his new tone. She never witnessed the hero get upset, especially with her. " I got my son back.. I'm sorry for lying to you but like I said, he was the key. I just let that bitch walk out of here alive, I could've killed her and ended this dispute.. But if it's war that she wants, then it's war that she'll get. " With venom dripping from her words and spite leaking from her pores, the divinity watched the Hylian in hate as their auras matched, increasing the tension between them. " Y/N I care for you too much to let you go that far.. She isn't worth a second of your time and she's using her petty ways to get underneath your skin. " " SHE TOOK MY SON ! " Screaming in frustration, Link's eyes widened at her sudden outburst, fear creeping into him as his triforce flickered slightly, Storm jumping in her grasp before wailing loudly as he was startled out of his sleep. " Y/N i'm sorry if I upset you.. " " What is going on? " Spooking the pair with his low voice, the king crept towards the duo in anticipation of finding reason. " Nothing, I didn't mean to yell like that.. I just had to get it out. " Rocking the child, Y/N softly rubbed his back as he began to calm down, but he was still crying nonetheless. " Y/N i've never heard you scream at the top of your lungs like that.., " Diverting his golden eyes towards the unamused hero, Ganondorf tilted his head just slightly whilst viewing his demise. " Why are you here? " " I was with her when you left, remember? I came to check on her. " Chuckling lightly at the hero's affair, he was no doubt in love with the otherworldly creature and it was clear to the king. " You're not doing that good of a job if you're upsetting her more than she already is. " " Funny how you care about someone all of a sudden.. " Growling lightly, the mother surveyed the vexed men, their triforce-bearing hands flashing brightly but only certain triangles illuminated. " Save that shit for another time, we have bigger problems. Link, can you get us aide? " " What? " The Gerudo looked down upon his wife, golden eyes widened in disapproval. " Yes Y/N, but I won't allow you to be visible to the public eye. You're still worth a lot of money. " Gesturing the knight, Y/N expressed no worry over her bounty or his concern.  " Thats fine, I need these bodies gone. Make sure you bring Nabooru here as well. " Both men viewed the beaut in awe, her unusual shot calling causing more concern for the duo of voes. " Y/N ! " Ganondorf called his love, shock littering his words as she sighed heavily. " Go back inside please.. You are really starting to piss me off. " " Absolutely not, why are you bringing Hylians here and requesting Nabooru? " Cocking her head rather sharply, the H/C haired woman grimaced, memories of her first encounter with Zelda flashing in her mind. " I don't like discrimination. We have one common enemy and it's not the entire race.. I thought you were smarter than that babe? " Turning his heel in annoyance, the king began towards the castle mumbling under his breath, Y/N humphing in satisfaction prior to diverting her attention back to the hero. " Thank you Link.. I apologize for screaming at you, today isn't my brightest of days. " Smiling warmly, Y/N turned her body and pursued her furious husband, gently waving towards the Hylian as he watched in anticipation, a small smile plastered in his lips. " Definitely a firecracker. " Chuckling lightly, the knight made leave as the queen entered her newly claimed home, Storm stirring gently in her arms as he sniffled lightly. " I've missed you so much baby, I'm so sorry for waking you up. " Cuddling her son, the mother continued through the maze of corridors, bouncing her upset seed as they entered the king's untouched room, trudging towards his mattress where she proceeded to lay the child down. " Y/N why would you ask him for any help? " Questioning the vai in annoyance, the Gerudo pinched the bridge of his nose in attempt to not raise his voice. " You think just us together can clean all this mess? " " It only took two too make it... " " Okay baby they aren't sleep, they're dead. We're carrying deadweight to where? We can't bury them all. " " How are we going to keep up with noone left? " " We open Gerudo Towne to the public. " Bewildered by her ludicrous statement, Ganondorf viewed his belle in disbelief. " This is a women's only race Y/N, that's breaking the chain. " " Weren't you the one that said you were never one to follow the rules? " Gazing up at his golden eyes, Y/N crushed once again by his strong features whilst he stared at her tired form on the bed, mesmerizing her beauty even in her most vulnerable state, still putting everyone above herself. She was selfless, independent, headstrong and she had a sharp tongue, only a few traits that made him surely fall in love with her. " He is my enemy Y/N, the bane to my evil and I won't let him get any closer than what he already is, especially to you. " " When will you realize that i'm only in love with you? I could care less about what he has to say to you or about you because he isn't you. I know he wouldn't dare hurt me or Storm even in the worst of situations.. Besides, what does him being your enemy have to do with me? "
