Oh my gosh. Yuna strived hard to cover her mouth as a wide grin spread across her face. The protagonist of her favorite novel in the flesh! He was still shorter than his height in the novel and still had the appearance of a young child.

But thinking of the delectable meal he would soon grow up to... Yuna can't wait to see him killing monsters with that legendary poker face and summoning soldiers with that cool phrase, ARISE!

Though this was the last year of Jinwoo's carefree days as he will eventually have to drop out due to his mother's decline in health. He will test himself as a hunter and unfortunately get the lowest rank.

But! Yuna is here for a reason!

...was what Kael could hear through Yuna's bouncing thoughts. He barely suppressed a groan at the obvious fire behind her eyes. She didn't even notice Jinwoo's discomfort at her too passionate stare. Kael felt embarrassed for her and felt sorry for Jinwoo.

" Kael... "

" Yes? "

Yuna faced Kael with a bright grin as her entire face and surroundings lit up. Kael felt a prick of anger but dismissed the feeling as anger at having to squint his eyes to see her.

" Let's buy a hospital. "

" What? "

Yuna pointed her chopsticks toward the clearly confused Kael as she inched a bit closer towards him.

" I mean...If I become the 'owner' of a hospital I'll have a reason to chat and be close with him! "

Kael could only shake his head at her obvious light view of the situation.

" You forgot the reason why he became a hunter. "

The reason that her plan to support Jinwoo was flawed at the very start.

" If you help him financially, then he'll find no reason to be a hunter. " Kael paused to allow this thought to sink in as Yuna's mouth parted at her own stupidity. Kael briefly cleared his throat and lowered his voice akin to a whisper, " and if he doesn't become a hunter, then there will never be a Monarch that'll save this world. "

" That's a bit biased. " Yuna concluded as she pouted. Her meal forgotten she then glared at Kael.

" What's the point of being here if I can't even do anything at the first place? " Even before Kael could respond she continued with a heavy tone, " Besides, I've already changed things early on so why not just change everything? "

" You're taking this situation too lightly. " Kael sneered as he said this as Yuna equally matched the sneer decorating his face.

" And you're taking this too seriously. "

Sometimes, Kael has moments where he just wants to get inside Yuna's head to know what she really thinks. Passing thoughts only happens whenever she gets too distracted or distressed and by the years she has learned to control it well. Kael wanted those times where she would use her thoughts to summon him.

" Just don't butcher the novel plot... "

" Ok, I will..not, " Kael had a brief foreboding that what she was about to say next would make him want to throw her out the window. " If you agree with the hospital plan. "

What did he feed her to make her this unyielding!?
