Michael's POVMy hand slid against the sheets to find the bed empty. Even though part of me wanted to panic, I smiled against my pillow. Last night had replayed through my dreams while I slept and now, even before my eyes opened, I felt happy. When my eyes fluttered open, the sun graced my room with light showing a beautiful day outside. I stretched my arms over my head letting go of a built up yawn and sat up in my bed. As much as I hate the smell of coffee it hung thick in the air and I breathed it in. It may not be my favourite thing in the world but it was a part of Calum so therefore it was growing on me. Without even standing from the bed I grabbed my boxers off the floor and tugged them up my legs. I trudged through our discarded clothes, pulling on some sweats and headed downstairs in search of Calum. All three voices could be heard from my position on the stairs and by the laughter, I could tell things were no longer tense.
"Good morning." I said and all three lads turned to me.
"Morning." All of them said enthusiastically. Luke and Ashton were making toast while Calum was in front of the coffee pot, stirring some sugar into his mug.
"Especially to you." I rasped, wrapping my hands around Calum's waist. I buried my face in the crook of his neck, nibbling on the skin and making Calum whine like a child.
"No breakfast sex!" Ashton shouted and I turned to glare at him playfully.
"I second that." Luke snickered and I pressed a sloppy and noisy kiss against Calum's cheek.
"Ew gross!" Calum whined shoving me away. I laughed on my way to the cereal cabinet and grabbed out the fruit loops.
I shook the colored rings into a bowl and grabbed the milk off the counter, where the other lads had left it, pouring it over the cereal. Being the last one to make breakfast, it was my duty to put the milk back into the refrigerator. I spun back around to see I was the only one left in the kitchen, the other three were sitting at the table eating. I grabbed a spoon from the drawer, plopping it my breakfast and heading for the empty seat at the table. When I sat down, they all turned to me and I felt like I had just interrupted something.
"So Mikey we were thinking, and we wanted to do songwriting this morning." Ashton said then took another bite of his toast.
"Okay," I said, spooning some cereal into my mouth. "Where?" I added through a mouthful of food.
"We were thinking about partner writing, like splitting into partners and going inspiring places around the city." Luke explained and I nodded.
"Alright so where do you want to go?" I asked looking over to Calum.
"We aren't partners, you're with Ashton." Calum smirked, pointing over to Ashton who had a goofy grin on his face.
"What, why?" I pouted.
"Because the two of you won't get anything done. We hear you in your room." Ashton teased with a smirk and I nearly spit out my Fruit Loops.
"Oh god." Calum whined, letting his head drop to the wood.
"Perverts." I bit, chewing on my cheek to keep from smirking.
"So are you in for the writing session?" Calum asked, changing the subject.
"Yeah sure." I shrugged as I finally finished off my breakfast.
"Great let's go then." Luke suggested, and all four of us stood to go get dressed. Luke and Calum were already ready to go and bid us good day while I hurried upstairs to put on some clothes.
I swapped my sweats for jeans and pulled a cut off shirt over my head. My hair was wild and turning orange so I decided to put a snapback over it. I reached into my shirt, pulling out the necklace to rest the pendant on my chest again. I couldn't help but smile at the tiny guitar and pressed a kiss to it before I turned to go. Realizing I forgot my notebook, I hurried back into my room to grab it then hurried down the stairs. Ashton was camped out on the lounge in the living room, flipping through the channels on the television.
