Calum's POV
Watching Mikey's mum, Rose, Julie and Amanda all swoon over our son I felt a happy feeling wash over me. Michael's hand was rubbing up and down my back as we stood in the kitchen staring at the women cooing at our tiny son. With a swift kiss on my forehead he separated our bodies to tend to the screaming tea kettle on the stove. I leaned against the counter as I watched him pour the steaming water into the army of mugs on the counter. I was in a trance watching Michael do such a simple task. It was like in the mornings when I watched him brush his teeth and he'd yell at me to quit staring at him. I couldn't help it, I loved him so fucking much I just wanted to memorize every little thing he did.
"Calum could you hand me that bottle so I can feed this hungry baby?" Michael's mums voice snapped me from my daydream.
"Yeah of course." I rasped then cleared my throat. I grabbed up the bottle and moved around the counter to hand it to Karen.
"Is there a rocking chair somewhere?" She asked, bringing the bottle up to a fussy Logan.
"In his room, second door on the right." Michael answered from behind me and his mum wandered up the stairs with Logan.
"Do you need any help love?" Rose asked Mikey who was now piling mugs and tea additives onto a tray.
"No I've got it." He smiled and pulled the tray from the counter to sit it in front of the three remaining ladies.
"Thank you Mikey." Julie smiled and he winked at her. He's such a good big brother figure to Julie even after all these years and I adored that.
"Do you guys want any breakfast? We might have some toast or cereal." Michael asked with a small laugh. We haven't been to the grocery store since Logan was born and the pickings were slim.
"No that's quite alright. We were all going out shopping and we were planning on a nice lunch." Amanda assured us while she spooned sugar into her tea.
"We haven't had the chance to get groceries." I pointed out, taking a seat across the island from Rose.
"We've heard." Rose smirked. Of course Mali has been the little mole, telling them how things have been going around here.
"Mali." I chuckled and Michael rested his hand on my shoulder, squeezing softly.
"What about Mali?" A voice appeared from the hallway and I looked up to see my sister and niece walking towards us.
"Speaking of the devil." Michael teased and Mali playfully punched him on the shoulder. He was always the one getting in trouble by her and it was hilarious to me.
"Rose! Jules and Amanda! When did you guys get in!" She squealed, turning her attention towards our guests.
"About an hour ago. Come here and give us a hug!" Amanda stood and opened her arms for my sister. It was so incredible how even perfect strangers took us in and made us family. Our support group was nothing less than amazing.
"Here Lily go see uncle Cal." Mali coaxed her daughter to come to me while she hugged Amanda. I grabbed the little girl and sat her on my lap.
Liliana was spitting image of her mother. Big brown eyes, the most adorable dimples and dark brown hair. Her middle name was Joy and she had all the kindness of our mother, even this young. She's just a a little over a year old by now so she's learning to walk and talk and she absolutely adores Michael.
"Lily bug." Michael cooed at the little girl on my lap and she immediately reached her arms out for Michael to pick her up. "Oh come here." He groaned as he picked her up and rested her on his hip.
