Chapter 18: Perfect

JAY'S POV

I turned around swiftly to be met by Louis's glare.

"I can explain" I begged.

"I don't need any explanation Jay" Louis replied, calmer then I expected him to be.

I better keep my mouth shut. Anything I say when I'm nervous is rubbish.

Trash.

Poo.

Ok.

You get it.

"You don't have to say anything and I'm not angry or what not. I- sit down"

He took me by the shoulders and motioned me to sit down.

"I'll be back"

"Sit Harry"

Harry took a sit on the further end of the couch.

"Harry"

"Mmmm"

"Come on man! Don't be a wiener!" Louis chuckled.

Did someone take over Lou's body?

Probably an angel.

Because as far as I know,a normal person would be ripping Harry's and mine hair out.

Oooohhhhhhh fiesty.

Harry moved closer and Lou took a seat on the other side of me.

"This can't go on any longer. You have to make up your mind. By doing this you're hurting me, yourself and Harry. It's pretty selfish of you, if you ask me. You have to choose"

I know what I want to say.

I know who I want to choose.

Then why is it so difficult for me to say it.

"Lou-"

"It's not. I wish it was me but it's not." He chuckled."I don't even know why I asked you that. Probably just to satisfy myself. It's always been Harry and it will always be. And I don't wanna be a third person. When two people are happy together, why should I be the one to break it all apart?" He stopped and looked at me. "And I can't do this no more"

"Lou what are you talking about?"

"I'm leaving"

"What?!" Harry and me exclaimed simultaneously.

"I'm leaving"

"Pretty sure I heard it the first time. Where?!"

"I'm leaving the band"

"Louis don't be a fucking idiot" Harry stated.

"You have to understand where I'm coming from"

"I don't. And I don't want to. So shut up. There's no reason for you to leave. We made a promise when we first started. Come what may, we'll stay together." Harry said sympathetically.

"Harry-"

"Shut up. You're not leaving. End of."

"Would you give me a hug?"

"Do you even have to ask!?" Harry exclaimed.

I watched as the two idiots tackled each other into a hug as they fell back on the couch.

It was quite a sight.

It would have been very sweet if I wasn't pulled I the "brawl" by Harry.

"STOP IT I CAN'T BREATHE"

But of course.

Who listens to me.

And then I felt more weight on top of me.

"GROUP HUG!"

Oh Jesus Christ.

"GUYS..... STOP.....CAN'T BREATHE"

Then one by one I felt them get up.

Oh look a miracle happened.

They listened to me.

"IM MAKING BREAKFAST!" Liam yelled and of course Niall ran to the kitchen and Zayn followed suit.

"Lou? Thank you. You been the best person ever, a best friend to me and a good father to Jai. You'll always be his father and remember that. You have all the rights that Harry has on Jai. And you're still my best friend. And I love you." I pulled him into a hug. I felt my cheeks become moistened by the tears that fell.

It was happy tears.

Because I'm happy now.

Everything is perfect.

Just how I want it to be.
