"You have to fix it, dad," the sixteen-year-old grumbled. Ethan sighed, stopping for Devin to get in and drumming his fingers against the steering wheel.

"Did you girls go ask?" They nodded their heads from the backseat. "And I have to go?"

"Yeah, a parent has to ask," Katniss explained. "We need your permission."

"What even happened anyway?" Devin asked the seventeen-year-old confused from having just entered the car.

"They switched us up," She said. "Either dad messed up our applications or they messed up the pictures or something, but Trin's signed up for the extracurricular shit that I was supposed to do, and I've got hers."

"Mhm," Trinity agreed, head against the window.

"Shit," Devin sighed, shaking his head.

"And I have to go- I have to leave for New York with your uncle tomorrow, Kat, you know that," he sighed.

"And you'll be gone for a month, dad!" she complained. "You want me to be in fricking chess club for a month?" Ethan chuckled a little.

"And what's Trin up for?" Trinity frowned, sulking in her seat.

"Cheerleading- how is she gonna cheerlead?" Katniss asked. Devin pulled a face, shaking his head.

"You good, pumpkin?" he asked, turning to look at his youngest sister. Trinity glared at him.

"I'm sorry, girls, but I literally can't go in- its a really important business thing-"

"Dad- I'm going to die in chess club," Katniss yelled. Ethan sighed, shaking his head. "You have to do something- what about Trinity, huh? How's she gonna survive cheerleading?"

"I know, but- okay, I'll call, okay? I'll call from there first thing Monday." Katniss fell back into her seat, arms crossed. Trinity went back to looking out the window. "First thing Monday, princess, I promise."

"This is all your fault," she grumbled. Ethan pouted. "Why did we have to come here anyway?"

"Because your old school-"

"I know, dad, but it's still not fair," she said, pulling out her phone. "Fricking private school."

"Well, you might as well start teaching Trin some twirls and jumps and shit," Devin said, stretching his arms. Trinity shook her head. "Why don't you guys just switch or something- no one's gonna know."

"We look nothing like each other," Katniss said, sitting back up. "We look so different and then these stupid name card things- fucking private school," she said again.

"IDs, princess," Ethan corrected. She glared at him. He smiled.

"Yeah, because you're the most useless pair of twins in the world," Devin said. Both girls glared at him. Ethan laughed.

"I'll call and ask, okay, angel?" he asked Trinity through the rearview mirror. She looked over his shoulder and met his eye. He gave her a small smile and she nodded, thanking him in her head.

"Okay- look-"

"Dad, I swear to god," Katniss said, getting up from her bed and heading to Trinity's. Trinity looked up from her book and sat up as her twin joined her on her bed. "Dad, plea-"
