"He's sick," Y/N sighed, turning her phone off. Ethan's eyes widened. "Gray, he's-"

"He does not have the virus," Ethan said. Y/N smiled.

"I don't think so-"

"We've barely gone anywhere, and we've gone together so if he had it so would I," Ethan said. Y/N nodded.

"Let's hope he's okay," She said. "But, because he is a little sick, g/w thinks it's best if-"

"The kids stay with us," Ethan finished. Y/N nodded. "Of course, are they coming then?" She nodded.

"G/W said she was packing a few clothes, they're right next door, we can go by and get something if they need," She said. Ethan nodded and got up off the couch, stretching his arms.

"How long has it been?" He asked. Y/N checked the time and thought.

"Wow, he did 45 minutes," Y/N said, referring to their 4-month-old. Ethan grinned. "And Carolyn's been 30 exactly," She said. Naptime was over.

"See, he's getting better!" Ethan exclaimed as they headed upstairs. Y/N squeezed his hand. "I'll go get Carolyn," He said, heading into his two-year-old daughter's bedroom.

He stepped around the mess of her toys and headed to her crib. He smiled, hands on the railing as he looked down at her, curled up into the side. "Princess," He said softly. "Angel," He tried, poking her a bit. She whined in her sleep, turning onto her back. Ethan smiled, pulling her up onto his hip, the toddler still asleep.

"Carolyn," He sang, to wake her up. She grabbed his t-shirt as she woke up. He smiled, wiping at her mouth with his thumb as she woke up. "Hello," He said with a smile.

"Daddy," She said with a frown. "Daddy, finished?" She asked. Ethan nodded, taking her out of the room, turning the light he'd just turned on, off.

"Mhmm, your little brother is too," He said as he headed downstairs, listening to y/n talk to Theo while she nurses him. He fixes the little clip in Carolyn's hair as they head to the kitchen. "Let's have some almond milk, okay?" He asked.

"Cookie?" She asked. He nodded.

"Sure we can have a cookie," He said with a smile. She smiled at him as he filled her bottle for her, while she rested on his side. "Your cousins are coming, princess," He said with a smile. She looked at him.

"Nee?" She asked. He nodded.

"Mhm, and Jacklyn," He said. "And Nash," He said as he handed her the bottle. She frowned at him. "And Axyl."

"No no no," She said, starting to drink her milk. Ethan rolled his eyes as he set her in her highchair, strapping her in. "Stay home."

"He's gonna stay here," He said. She frowned at him. Ethan reached into a cupboard for her cookies. "Let's see," He sighed, trying to find some cookies. "These ones?" He asked, finding a baggie of animal crackers. She nodded.

"Yum," She said. He grinned, bringing it over and pouring a few onto the tray of her highchair. "Thank you, daddy," She said nicely. Ethan kissed her head and headed back to the kitchen, rummaging around to see if he had anything for dinner.

"How'd you sleep, honey?" Y/N asked, walking in with Theo in her arms.

"Mama!" Carolyn yelled, arms in the air as she showed her the cookie. "Mama, look!" She yelled. Y/N smiled.

"Daddy gave you cookies?" She asked. Carolyn nodded, eating one. "Wow, can mama have one?" Carolyn handed her a cookie and y/n ate it. She handed her another.
